Pros: Cracking cottage with bags of space. Super quiet. Comfy bed. Love the decking area and the fact you can see the sea from it. Thought it was exceptional value for money. Staff, everyone of them, were amazing. So happy and couldn't do enough for you. Grub was magic. We ate both nights and had breakfast each morning. It runs like clockwork. Amazing little find on Arran. Loved it and would return in a heartbeat

Cons: One very minor thing. I would've like a dishcloth and dish towel. We only used 2 wine glasses each night and wouldn't put a dishwasher on just for that. Nit an issue, but would've like

Warm cosy stay with lots of peace and quiet.

Pros: The property is lovely and quiet - I get a really good night's sleep because there is no noise disturbance from other residents as is usually the case in a hotel (loud voices, slammed doors).

Cons: Nothing really.

Top Notch

Pros: Great location and lovely cottage. Well equipped and very comfortable. Great little welcome pack. They even decorated the cottage with a Christmas tree and decorations! The breakfast in the hotel was top notch. A very dog friendly place with fantastic staff. The evening entertainment was good too. I will definitely be back soon.

Exceptional Getaway in Arran

Pros: The cottage itself was clean, spacious and warm. Bed was comfy and there is a walk in wardrobe. Lovely balcony with stunning view of Holy Island. We had breakfast at the Glenisle pub right next to the cottage. Breakfast was varied and delicious but the full Scottish breakfast was exceptional. Every single member of staff were polite, friendly and made us feel very welcome. They couldn't do enough for us, especially the lady who served us breakfast every morning. I would definitely stay there again.

Peaceful Stay in a Lovely Cottage

Pros: The cottage was quiet and very comfortable. It was great for us to switch off for a few days and enjoy some peace and quiet. It's an excellent size and well equipped with a very large TV and a cinema style couch and the kitchen was modern with everything you would need. Having a washer and dryer was also a great bonus. Once we figured out the heating it was lovely and cosy! The staff were all friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning - so much so our usual order was remembered and we really appreciated that. It's in a great location - a short drive from the ferry and an excellent place to base yourself to explore the island.

Cons: It would be a great addition to have a small welcome pack to explain how the heating works - to save you having to ask the staff to come up to the cottage to show you. A few small areas - namely in the bathroom and wardrobe area could do with some DIY/painting but it didn't detract from our lovely stay.

The acid test is would we stay there again? The answer is yes!

Pros: Very spacious, good facilities, great location, friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfasts in the hotel.

Cons: Only nitpicking comments really, shower silicone needs redoing, one spotlight was flickering. We’d have preferred a sofa rather than the cinema chairs but that’s just our taste.

Pros: Staff were lovely, food was good. breakfast was excellent and we ate here a couple of evenings. Bar and restaurant are relaxing. Super location. We loved Arran and enjoyed the walks, beaches and slowing down.

Cons: Could do with some instructions of how to work TV etc. Some cleaning materials under the sink would be handy for a quick wipe round.

Cons: The external steps down were a little awkward when carrying luggage especially when wet

Lovely quiet peaceful stay in a snug cottage.

Pros: Didn't take advantage of the breakfast. The wee cottage was just delightful, so quiet and peaceful and so well equipped. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen fabulous, there was even a state-of-the-art washing machine and tumble dryer! The massive telly was much appreciated, I had a go on the piano and the big cinema chairs were so comfortable. I could feel the underfloor heating too. It was just a gorgeous experience and absolutely no noise disturbance, unlike in hotel rooms. I shall definitely be returning the next time the cottage becomes available.

Cons: Nothing at all! The key to the outer door was a bit difficult to operate, the door handle a bit uncooperative.
