Pros: The scenery was beautiful. You could see Holly loch from the windows which had birds in & around it. It was not too far from the garage and shop called Cot House. Around there you can have nice walks etc. It was a shame that we had rain most of the time. ( February). The lodge was cosy especially when the log fire was lit. It had all the items you needed from morning to evening. In the kitchen it had what you need in cooking wise. The beds were very comfortable. You don't have to argue with regards to the toilets as there are two. The main one has a shower area. If you take children with you, there are board games and DVDs etc. You don't have to take bedding and towels with you. They are supplied, ignore what booking.com says.
Cons: In the evening or night time when you come back to the lodge there is no light near the entrance door. You can't see walking down the steps until the security light comes on. Inside because of it being an old building there is the smell of mold & also it's visible.

Relaxed, lovely scenery, good location
Pros: Great view from the veranda over the sea loch. Larger than expected, loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Although it was on a relatively busy B- road a short drive gave us loads of dog walking areas

Absolutely lovely!
Pros: The place was very cosy, and a little fireplace created an even better atmosphere in the evening. It was lovely coming back from a long walk and chilling in the sitting room. I loved a kitchen annex, designed in a cottage style with lots of real wood details. Spacious shower room with a heated floor was nice and convenient to use. Beds were very comfortable. My family and I felt like home in there. No problem contacting an owner by phone, although we didn't have additional requests as everything we needed was there, however, the owner- Alistair- said to just give him a call in case of anything. WiFi and tv worked smoothly, and a free parking spot was available as the website said. PS; for the fans of \
Cons: The only thing was the lack of hot water in the kitchen, maybe it was us not doing something right, but we managed by boiling water in a kettle. Also, a dishwasher was there so we weren't bothered too much.

Pros: We were a family of 5 (4 adults and 1 child) and everyone had a lovely time. The lounge/kitchen area is cosy and welcoming. Lots of boardgames for all ages and just an amazing space to relax in. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. There is underfloor heating in the main bathroom which is just divine 👌🏼The house warms up really quickly and stays warm for a long time even after the heating goes off. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The weather was a bit of a mixed bag but we still managed to spend lots of time outdoors. The host is friendly, considerate and helpful and gave us recommendations for a very good restaurant nearby. The info pack in the accommodation gives a good history of the place and lots of tips about what to do in the area. Overall, a very happy experience!
Cons: There is a bit of a musty smell in the house which is noticeable first time you walk in the door. I would say this is normal for a north facing home with lots of vegetation around it. The smell went away when we opened the windows and aired the rooms a bit.

Perfect location to explore Scottish lakes and temperate rainforest at the edge of the Highlands.
Pros: A comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Interesting views from the dining table and the porch. Good kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and seating. Good TV. Convenient access to local services and visitor attractions such as Benmore Botanical Gardens, Inveraray Castle and Loch Lomond. Helpful host who returned some items inadvertently left behind!
Cons: Slight smell of damp.
