Everything we could have hope for really

Pros: Beautiful location. lodge was charming, cosy, clean and extremely well equipped. Abigail was attentive and extremely accommodating, staying in touch regularly to make sure everything was ok. We couldnt have asked for more though. thanks

Cons: the weather. but there's not much you can do about that. and if anything it made us enjoy the lodge even more.

Excellent location, cosy and comfortable lodge and a stones throw to forest and river walks.

Pros: Attentive host, Abigail generously left us a winter / Christmas welcome pack and had lightly decorated the lodge. We loved the large windows to watch the birds (inc. an owl!) and squirrels during the day and the amazing starry sky at night.

Fantastic location. very well equiped and spacious lodge. A hidden gem.

Pros: This property had everything you could need. Beds very comfortable. Spacious rooms throughout. Very well equipped kitchen. Fabulous location ; just loved it. Red squirrels everyday.

A perfect holiday

Pros: We loved everything about Ruskin Lodges. The lodge and accomodation was absolutely perfect and the location is so beautiful with lots of amazing walks. The whole family including a 12 and 9 year old loved the time here.

Cons: I find it very difficult to think of anything negative except the midges.
