Nice enough lodge but wouldn't stay again for many reasons beyond the owners control

Pros: Great communication, second to none with the information provided. Really comfy bed. 2 toilets one with shower and one with bath. Tea, coffee, milk provided.

Cons: The bath is tiny. Without the heating on it was quite chilly and I'm not a cold person. Unfortunately there was torrential rain for my entire stay, which can't be helped, but it was so loud all of the time and the gutters seemed full so at night when trying to sleep the constant dripping from the gutters was very annoying. I didn't realise this particular lodge was so close to a busy road so it wasn't quite the peaceful stay I was hoping for.

The lodge was fine for 3 nights, would book a larger one for our next stay.

Pros: The lodge was very clean, facilities were ample and was ready for when we arrived at 3pm. The site was peaceful and had some lovely walks. Our only issue was it was small but for the 3 nights was fine.

Pros: Excellent location and really nice lodge. Beautiful views to wake up to and fresh air from mountains nearby ! Really central to be able to go to Edinburgh Glasgow Loch Lomond Falkirk etc. all are a one hour drive.

Cons: Bed sheets was a bit stained and dusty when we checked in.

Weekend stay

Pros: Clean and tidy throughout. All facilities that you would need for your stay available. The owner was easily available for any questions or queries that you might have. Great location with beautiful views all around

Cons: Ensuite bath slightly too small for someone of my height

Pros: The location was great for us to explore the surrounding area. The lodge was clean, it had everything we needed for our week away, the kitchen had plenty of utensils for cooking and the labels made everything easy to find. We'd definitely return.

Cons: Our only (tiniest) issue was the sunlight coming through the blinds for our baby. But this was easily solved with a towel or coat to block a bit of light.

Stunning location and great value.

Pros: Every room fully equipped. Clean, spacious, and very quiet location. Ideal base for trips around Perth and Kinross. Great value for money. Located in the valleys between trees.
