An enjoyable weekend with friends spent in a really lovely cosy cottage

Pros: A lovely cottage, modern interior, very clean and great facilities. We stayed in January and it was really cosy and warm, throughout. Location for visiting around Glencoe is ideal also. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area

Cons: There was genuinely nothing negative about the cottage

Pros: Duart Cottage us absolutely beautiful, warm and cosy. All the facilities are very well thought out, including for the furry guests. It was a very comfortable stay. Location and parking was also great.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike. It feels like a true home away from home!

We try and stay at Duart Cottage every year. It’s a great cottage, very comfortable, a good location

Pros: The cottage is in a good location to use as a base to see the Highlands. We try and stay there every year, very relaxing, quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. Shame the local grocery store has shut down.

Cons: Only observation. The tin opener is ready for replacement. I had to use my Boy Scout skills to break open a can. :)

Fantastic property for walkers who enjoy their home comforts at the end of a long day.

Pros: Fantastic location for outdoor enthusiasts. Hundreds of walks on the doorstep ranging from easy strolls to full-on Mountain days. Sea Kayaking and cycle hire close by too. The location is also good for travelling to places further afield for a day such as Oban, Blair castle, Skye. The cottage was cosy, stylish and very functional. The finishing touches at the cottage make all the difference e.g. toiletries provided, fruit & flowers on arrival, the drying room, plenty of hooks for coats etc, loads of mountaineering books to read on the wet days and lots of walk & restaurant suggestions from the owners.

Cons: The weather! Although it improved slightly through the week and Glencoe is beautiful even in the rain.

Pros: Lovely cottage in central location. Exceptionally clean, warm and well kitted out (loved the Scottish Soaps toiletries). Fresh flowers. Dog-friendly with treats. Incredible collection of mountain books. Great central location for Munros (from the door) and exploring. Delighted to discover the microbrewery on Ardnamurchan (ferry a delight and free for foot passengers). Next time will go for pizza night. Loved the Clachaig Inn, not keen on Kingshouse (no food for non residents for no apparent reason). Super seafood att EE Usk in Oban. The shop in village seemed permanently shut? but Co-op in Ballachulish perfectly good. Thank you Michael.

Great stay in Glen Coe

Pros: The big bowl of fruit was a real pleaser. The milk and tea bags on arrival were very welcome. The rooms were well furnished and beds very comfortable. Copious hot water. Well equipped kitchen.

Cons: Scotland failed to beat France to hand the Six Nations title to England. The cleaner missed the tops of the skirting boards in the downstairs bathroom.

Strong recommend - comfortable and cosy and great walking base

Pros: This is a delightful cottage - very comfortable, well equipped and excellent location. It’s a terrific base for outdoor activities and very cosy during a wild storm (loved the underfloor heating in the bathrooms). Great for groups. Would definitely go back.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Warm and welcoming. Super shower and hot hot water. Thoughtfully and well equipped.

Cons: Didn't like having to leave the recliner in the living room, so comfortable!! Photos on booking.com don't do it justice

Amazing cottage

Pros: Amazing cottage! We loved being surrounded by so many inspiring books, maps and pictures. Extremely comfortable cottage that allowed us to explore the hills. The welcoming flowers and fruit were a great surprise! We've got really nice memories of our stay, thank you for making it so special.
