Lovely stay

Pros: Really lovely place to stay - the grounds and surrounding area are great for a walk and a great getaway from city life. The place itself is lovely for a short or long stay. The hosts were friendly, helpful and suggested places of interest nearby.

Cons: Please note that your sat nav may not direct you exactly where you need to go, so you may have to contact the hosts to find your way. Importantly, the road that you are allowed to use to access the property is very bumpy, so not great for low cars at all.

Pros: It was very smart and clean. Quiet and peaceful. All amenities we could have wanted.

Amazing, we loved it- couldn't have found a better place.

Pros: We loved the location of the Bothy as it was lovely and quiet, all you could hear were the birds and sheep. Although it was out in the 'sticks' it was easy to find the routes with our sat nav and a map - the surroundings at the property were just beautiful with loads of different coloured plants. The property inside was huge, plenty of space for the 10 days we were there.

Beautiful decor, beautiful surroundings.

Pros: Very easy, the keys were left in the back of the door.

Cons: The access road had lots of potholes so if you weren’t a confident driver, or had a sports car (!) it would be an issue.

Great place for a short break.

Pros: The property was quiet and peaceful in a lovely location. Close to a small village with all the amineties we required. Surrounded by places of interest to visit.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Wonderful accommodation for a couple

Pros: Excellent accommodation, secluded, beautifully decorated, wonderful location. Extremely comfortable and spacious. Immaculately clean and well equipped. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: Nothing, it was ideal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pros: The location was stunning. Beautiful views and wildlife. Including a beautiful barn owl in the barn opposite the bothy. 30 minutes from several tourist attractions including Japanese garden, castle Campbell, the kelpies, faulkirk wheel, wallace monument and Sterling castle. An explorer pass is advisable as entry costs Mount up. Host was very respectable and greeted us with warmth and kindly offered eatery suggestions Including The Inn at Muckart and The foreger in Dollar. Wee also enjoyed a meal at The Woodsman Restaurant Fishcross in Alloa which was very nice and only 20 mins away. The bothy is very well stocked with everything you need for a longer stay with all kitchen utensils you could think of and home comforts including dishwasher and washer dryer. The log burner is a wonderful addition making it so cosy. The private outdoor space/ small courtyard was a lovely addition for sitting out in the morning and at night.

Cons: The road into the bothy is a farm road which is harsh on your car particularly if it is not a raised vehicle. The afore mentioned speed bumps are not an issue it is the potholes before and after that are not great. The mattress on the bed is very hard and is two singles joined together therefor not comfortable, however this is a personal preference.

Pros: Outstanding Location. Everything you require is available. Jonny is an excellent host.

Cons: That we didn’t stay for 2 weeks.

Schottland und Clackmananshire ist eine Besuch wert! :-)

Pros: Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft auf der Farm, die umgeben von einem wunderschönen, farbenprächtigen und bunten Garten ist. Ruhe, Ruhe, Ruhe, nur ab und zu hört man Schafe und Fasane. Trotzdem waren alle unsere Ziel in der Umgebung schnell erreichbar. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. In Clackmannanshire kann man richtig viel unternehmen.

Cons: Da fällt mir nichts ein! :-)
