Great accommodation, location and value for money

Pros: Owner was very knowledgeable about the property and the local area. Very friendly and welcoming. The house was stocked with a variety of things we would need including dishwasher tablets, cleaning, tea, coffee and most importantly, a selection of breakfast items from the butchery which is just next door.

Cons: Instructions on booking.com were incorrect. States collect at reception but there isn’t one. We had to ring booking.com who gave us the number for the owner.

Arden House - Comrie

Pros: Beautiful house with plenty of space. Host Murray was there to meet us on arrival to answer any questions. Beds were very comfortable, a real home from home stay in beautiful Comrie. It's like stepping back in time, lots of little shops, butchers, bakers, coffee shops etc on your doorstep. Thank you to Murray for the welcome butcher's hamper. Thoughtful and delicious. We will definitely stay again.

Pros: Great location beautiful house well equipped spotlessly clean.

Excellent stay with friends in thoroughly relaxing and commodious surroundings .

Pros: A delightful, comfortable house in the lovely village setting of Comrie. House was well appointed for all our needs, with the added, very generous provision of a very tasty breakfast pack for the beginning of the day, and bottle of wine for later!

Enjoyable stay in a lovely location.

Pros: Good location and ample room for a family. We received a lovely welcome pack from the butcher’s next door as well. The Melville (Royal Hotel, Comrie) was very welcoming and the beer garden was a good size too. All just round the corner from the house. Host was readily available to answer any queries too.

Cons: Only one bathroom, but we could cope due to being one family staying, but not so great for multiple couples.

Property in good central location. Very pleasant, comfortable & enabled a great family get together.

Pros: The personal welcome was great. We were shown round the house. It is in a beautiful part of Scotland.

Cons: Windows in kitchen would shut properly, so there was a cold draft. There were no blinds/curtains in the kitchen.

Lovely birthday weekend break

Pros: Wonderful house in the middle of beautiful Comrie. Arden House is very comfortable, well appointed, beautifully decorated and toasty warm! Murray, our friendly host, left a lovely welcome hamper full of good things from his butcher shop next door. He was very helpful and informative about the local area. We would not hesitate to stay at Arden House again, or to recommend it.
