Heather Cottage

Pros: Lovely house, well furnished and comfortable. Loved the lounge opening straight out onto a lovely garden.

Fantastic cottage great walking area.

Pros: Lovely cottage one of the best we have been in ,everything you could ask for ,beds comfortable,kitchen well equipped, 5 mins from the village shops had everything we needed. The Royal Hotel food excellent if in Crieff The Meadow Inn very good food .The weather was fine one day rain .We are familiar with Comrie so new all the good walks. We will certainly be back .

Our stay at heather cottage 5/9/25

Pros: We had the perfect stay. The cottage was well equipped and clean. Felt like home for a week, the garden was perfect for the dog. The cottage is a short walk to the shops which they again everything you need. For bigger shop we visited Creiff not too far away. The only place to eat out and drink is the hotel again short walk over the bridge. We have to mention fish and chip shop the best we've had. Walks in abundance . Your very central for visiting local lochs, beautiful scenery. Also the information which was on line absolutely had all the information you need and more much better than a book version. Would definately return.

Cons: Nothing. They are doing work on the river flood defence but you don,t hear them. Just so your aware. As i say brilliant walks. If bringing a dog beware ticks. Theres a pet shop on the high street she was very helpful. Never got to see red squirrel .

Pros: Perfect for our stay. Centrally located, well equiped and comfortable.

Great value, location and facilities

Pros: Comfortable, everything you might need for a stay away. Nice garden and terrace area. Comfortable beds. Great location

Cons: Sofa covers could do with an update, though these were covered with blankets

Pros: The cottage truly felt like a home away from home, cosy and equipped with everything we needed to spend the week there. Comrie is also a lovely village, conveniently located from a variety of objectives and trails.

Quiet location with easy access.

Pros: It's located in a quiet area and is not far from the town area. So it's a great place to stay.

Cons: All good.

Brilliant location.

Pros: Great location. Good size and nice enclosed garden for kids.

Cons: A lot of fluff off the carpets sticking to all the clothes. Especially the kids playing around on the floor. Minor issue though.

Ideal base to explore central Scotland

Pros: Comrie is a fantastic location, allowing for easy exploration of the surrounding area. Heather Cottage is well appointed and comfortable with a lovely garden to sit outside in the evening, or to have breakfast in.

Week stay in July

Pros: A lot of effort has been taken to make this cottage comfortable with quality equipment etc. It's located within walking distance of Comrie and ideal for exploring Perthshire.

Cons: Some shortfalls on a practical basis ie: no wall cupboards in kitchen so awkward bending when using facilities; also fridge/freezer positioned behind kitchen door; impossible for 4 people to sit at dining table; bins had not been emptied on a regular basis and gardens required attention.
