Cragside

Pros: A wonderful( but too short),2-night stay at Cragside. It was beautifully clean , well equipped and the location couldn't have been any better. We'll definitely be back! Thank you Jackie 😊

Great location and very comfortable.

Pros: Location was central and easy to find and its off a main road so its not busy with traffic. Comfortable bungalow, spotless clean, tidy and all you need in the kitchen and appliances for your stay (even Air-fryer). Driveway for safe parking and access to a nice garden.

Cons: There is some noise in the morning during the week from a Forklift truck up the road as there are a couple of industry units; however, most of the time we were out so it was not an issue.

A lovely place to stay

Pros: This was a lovely, comfortable and well equipped house with very nice, helpful owners who wanted us to have a great stay. The location was central and very convenient to see the area in and around Callander. There is a lovely and quiet back garden to chill out or hang out washing in, surprising given the town centre location and there was plenty of parking. We took James's advice on places to eat and it worked out really well. Thank you.

Cons: The property has some commercial units around it which were very busy but don't be put off by that, we had absolutely no problems with it, no inconvenience and no excessive noise. The steps, especially at the back wouldn't be OK for someone with worse mobility problems than me, but the details are clear about this.

Fabulous, comfy and clean

Pros: It was spotless, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were comfy. The showers were easy to work out and the water pressure was good. Our friendly host Jackie met us on time and explained everything.

Cons: We couldn’t fault it.

Pros: The location was perfect. The host Jackie was there to meet us and was very accommodating, the cottage was immaculate. Would definitely recommend this cottage 10/10.

Very Clean and Comfortable Property

Pros: The cleanest property I have ever stayed. Very well kept property. Host was very responsive to queries.

Cons: It is missing a tumble dryer and the bathrooms can do with more hooks and a tray for toiletries in the shower area.

A short stay.

Pros: The cottage was very well presented, with nice modern furnishings and decor. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of hot water, and it was a very warm and cosy home. The garden was lovely to sit in on a warm sunny day. The proximity to shops, restaurants and local walks was excellent. Milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits all much appreciated on arrival.

Cons: Noise from 2 local businesses either side of the property was quite annoying. But living in a quiet rural location myself, I probably noticed this more than most people. A king sized bed would have been preferable to a double. The steps into the garden were very steep and had no handrails.

Immaculate cottage located within the heart of Callander.

Pros: Met by the Host on arrival and given a quick tour of the facility. Immediate thoughts were the immaculate conditions of all bedrooms and toilet / wash facilities in terms of cleanliness.

Cons: Impossible to dislike anything here.
