Andreu Cottage

A cozy and enjoyable stay in a nice and quiet town.

Pros: A well equipped cottage which is centrally located to the town centre with easily accessible supermarket and a good bakery (Mhor’s Bread). Also, the good quality bedding ensures a good sleep.

Cons: The water pressure for shower is a bit weak.

Pros: A good location near the centre of town. Very well presented.

Superb spot for the Trossachs

Pros: The property is very well located, one street back from the main road through Callander, so there's no noise at all, but easy access to the town itself. It's on two levels with one of the bathrooms, at a mezzanine level serving a ground floor bedroom, and a second and larger bathroom serving the upper floor bedroom en suite. All rooms spacious and the lounge and bedroom on the upper floor have particularly good views. The access road is narrow so there's no parking in front of the entrance but its fine to offload there and there's plenty of parking close by. There's plenty to do in the area; we found the Lake of Menteith and the castle Drummond Gardens especially beautiful

Cons: Nothing of significance; the mezzanine bathroom could do with a shelf for toiletries. Note that the Old Rectory Inn looks like it has closed.

Comfortable cottage in a good location

Pros: Lovely split-level cottage in a good location. Had all the items needed to support our stay (kitchen basics, laundry etc). Great view out to the mountains from the upstairs lounge. Convenient for buses and local walks.

Quiet stay in a beautiful location

Pros: Charming, characterful terraced cottage with a delightful outlook onto the garden and onto the mountain in the distance. Very large comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Peaceful location with lots of hiking routes nearby.

Cons: Some outstanding housekeeping issues found on arrival. Insecure encryption on Wifi connection. The laminated notices.

Pros: Location was great,the cottage was peaceful and quiet, parking was a bit of a hit or miss because no parking at cottage

Pros: The cottage is beautiful. One finds everything one needs. Everything is very clean. Easy to park. The hosts are so nice and helpful. Highly recommended ❤️

Pros: Cottage is very cosy, heating and hot water worked perfectly, the best equipped kitchen I have seen in a long time, very clean. Decor is not quite my taste, but it fits with the cottage. Easy access to village and hiking paths. Outdoor seating.

Cons: Some of the furnishings and decor feel a bit dated, but are as in the photos.

Lovely short stay, weather could have been better but its Scotland we live in. Great communication
