Great place, great base!

Pros: The facilities were excellent, comfortable and modern. The rooms were well heated and had good facilities. The area is great with local amenities nearby and a good base for visiting places of interest and nature

Cons: The place was excellent, but I probably needed an extra pan or dish for cooking for a family, but this was not that big a problem.

Pros: The cottage is very beautiful, cozy and comfortable. It was well equipped, and beds/living spaces were clean and inviting. We loved coming back here after long days of exploring the stunning area. Having the outdoor area was also amazing on beautiful sunny evenings. The area itself is gorgeous, and a very good base for exploring more of scotland in every direction.

Perfect stay in a beautiful cottage

Pros: If your looking for a lovely place to stay in Scotland then this is the one. The cottage is beautiful and the quality of the fixtures and fittings are first class. The owners have thought about everything. In lovely grounds parking available. Is definitely one to revisit.

Perfect

Pros: An absolutely beautiful property which has been furnished to a really high standard. Had everything we needed for our stay. A lovely garden in front to look out onto which our kids loved playing in. Easy walking distance into the centre of Callander (and to Mhor Bread for cakes!)

Cons: Wish we’d stayed longer!

Fantastic - will definitely be back.

Pros: Fantastic location - far enough out of the village to be peaceful, but close enough to be able to walk to all shops and other amenities. The house itself was very well-appointed and spotless. The décor made it feel very personal; more like staying in a friend's house than a holiday let.

Cons: I would have preferred there to have been a shower instead of just the bath, but guess what; one is being installed starting today (06/01/25) - Fantastic!
