A Luxury Cottage retreat

Pros: The Bothy definitely felt like a luxury stone haven set into private countryside. Claire met us on arrival to give us the keys and show as round, and the place was fantastically furnished with everything we could need. The dogs loved their stay, being able to relax outside in the enclosed garden while we set up a bbq and made use of the outdoor seats and tables. Both rooms had amazing large beds with perfect bedding. Just what we needed after a weekend crawl up nearby Ben Ledi for the panoramic view across Callander and the nearby Lochs. Plenty of highly recommended local places to eat and get food - Nicks at port of Monteith having amazing food, and allowing dogs in the roofed garden, and we struggled to pass Mhor Bread in Callander without picking up something sweet or savoury.
