Great for a short escape away from it all

Pros: Well presented, warm, with plenty of utensils in the kitchen. Nice welcome pack

Cons: Beige carpets not a great idea, but we accessed via the side door onto vinyl

Fantastic stay

Pros: Lodge was perfect and in great location. Hosts were very helpful and friendly, will definitely be back for another visit. Our dog loved it too ❤️

Pros: Fab location not far from everything 👌 very peaceful and quiet, owners were super friendly and helpful both extremely knowledgeable of the area and beyond, if you aren't lucky enough to meet the hosts as they work long hours and super busy with the horses there is a book loaded with leflets and information on the dining table, they even left essentials such as milk, bread even a Terry's chocolate orange 😁👍

Another trip over the border.

Pros: It was situated in a very peaceful location and within easy driving distance to Alloa, where you could easily park and get the train to Stirling, Glasgow or Edinburgh (and a return was cheap). Only neighbours to worry about were the ones that neighed. Stephen was an exceptional host where nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend.

Location, location, location

Pros: The location was idyllic, nothing but countryside and horses. Holiday home was lovely and well equipped. I could have stayed forever lol. Dogs had a great time too

Super Super

Pros: I really liked the location, nice place for fishing and hot tub

Cons: I didn't like it for a moment, the fishing lake has a lot of grass.

Pros: Beautiful views. Comfortable lodge with extremely well equipped kitchen and very clean. Enjoyed watching all the horses and getting the chance to meet a beautiful, friendly stallion in the field in front of the lodge.

Pros: Perfect location to run away from all the noise at nights around New Year , we loved the peace around. Close to many attractions and nice walking trails with dogs. Warm welcome from the owner.

Pros: Très bien équipé, ce bungalow ne manque de rien. Les chevaux et le petit poney sont dans le terrain juste en face, tous les jours avec les petits lapins... un vrai havre de paix. Quand à Stephen et Linn, ils sont toujours tout sourire, présents tout en étant discrets. Stephen parle un peu français.

Cons: Les matelas devraient être changés car on sent les ressorts.
