A great relaxing break for my husbands birthday

Pros: Very attentive and welcoming hosts. We stayed during storm Amy ! The lodge was extremely sheltered and the views were amazing. They came down to check we were ok for food etc. highly recommend

Pros: Friendly welcome. Clean and homely lodge. Kid friendly dog friendly. Right on the farm site with horses. Fantastic stay, hope to book again.

Cons: Family wished we could have stayed longer

A great base if you want peace to retreat to after an adventurous day

Pros: Excellent location, so peaceful and only 5mins from Dollar which has most things you'd need. Kids loved having the horses so close by

Cons: Bedrooms are tight and not much storage. We were a family of 3 adults and 2 young kids, probably wouldn't be able to handle much more than that.

Affordable, comfy, central and welcoming.

Pros: Central location, close to all the amenities we were after. If your wanting to go into Edinburgh go via Dunfermline city station, free parking and only 30 minutes via train (£20 for a family of three return off peak) Tip if your going with a child you can by their ticket on board for £1 return. Not far from Stirling castle & the kelpies. Plenty of parking for our stay, very clean and tidy and Steve kindly left break, butter, tea, coffee and milk. Daryll, one of the farm hands kindly showed us around the foals and horses which my daughter loved. Had everything we needed, plenty of clean towels.

Cons: Nothing to mention.

Amazing stay

Pros: The hospitality. We arrived 9:30pm. Landlady said she goes at 9 but was kind to show us the way as we got lost. There was chocolate biscuits, milk, butter. Good amount of towels. Very clean. Had all the needs like pots pans, plates, cups etc. Nice and quiet place to go and visit. Well looked after.

Cons: Nothing. I had the biggest room out of us 3 mates because I am the driver and main person. They had the other rooms. For them it was a bit small but because I had the main big room, I had no problem.

Emjoyable long weekend, cosy and warm!

Pros: Great hosts, quiet, comfy and warm, great walks for doggy. Great location. Enjoyed our stay.

Cons: We were happy with everything.

Pros: Steven the host family was really nice guy we came from peterborough to visit glencoe we stayed there for 2 nites very well maintained property

Great getaway, quiet and secluded but central to lots of sightseeing and shopping

Pros: Location was brilliant for us with family living just down the road, quiet, well maintained and we could take our dogs. Shower was amazing, plenty of parking and owners friendly, will definitely use again

Cons: The only downside was the beds were not overly comfortable but not bad enough to stop us going again
