Pros: Very nice cottage , very nicely decorated and has a very comfy bed

Comfortable and relaxing cottage - wonderful!

Pros: Very comfortable cottage, genuine sea view from the bedroom and ideal for two. The street was quiet and Aberdour is a lovely little place, with great walks, a pretty sea shore and plenty of shopping and eating facilities. A convenient rail link into Edinburgh gives lots of entertainment options. We loved our stay 🥰

Aberdour break

Pros: Stayed for a week in November Lovely cottage ideal for two Very well equipped and tastefully decorated 10 minute walk to the train station and then 30 minutes to Edinburgh

Pros: The property was clean and well maintained good instructions on where all appliances were and how to use. Very comfortable. Highly recommended for a break, and everything was in walking distance.

Cons: There was noting we did not like.

Pros: Everything was perfect. A beautiful and cosy cottage in a really lovely part of the world 💕 We will definitely return!

Pros: Anne was so kind! She helped us a lot during our stay in Sea Hollies. We had a great time in Aberdour, was really difficult to get out of the house because it was really comfy and warm <3 We felt at home.

Visiting Edinburgh??... consider staying close by in this excellent property.

Pros: Lovely area with easy access from Waverley station Edinburgh. Enjoyed the local castle and beaches. Excellent local delicatessen for wholesome food. Well-appointed, attractive, cosy accommodation... good lighting, flooring, furniture, heating, bedding, fridge, cooker, washing machine, garden ... good everything... just a few of items missing from the kitchen in our opinion...proper kitchen scissors, water glasses, 10\

Cons: Well...this is not criticism of this particular property as I think it was an excellent and most enjoyable experience... but on the industry as a whole. I think what owners/ Booking.com fail to consider is that self catering might just mean some people wish to cook full meals at home, especially if there is a vegetarian in the family...or someone who avoids all processed food and consequently needs to cook from fresh....or people with food allergies... or people intolerant to gluten In this property, there was a proper high quality cooker and large smart fridge but as mentioned above, a few items expected were missing from the kitchen and the space for washing up after a proper meal became rapidly chaotic....lack of space for draining pots and pans. So, a suggestion... kitchens good for just breakfast become B rated ...and those good for preparing and cooking full meals and washing up lots of stuff afterwards ie full draining boards not little dolly ones (or supply a dish washer) A rated. Just some thoughts on minor problems encountered time and time again when using Booking.com. Of course, we just muddle through, but Booking.com asks for comment so here it is.

10/10 experience. Will definitely return

Pros: Sea Hollies is such a beautifully furnished Airbnb with a charming seaside theme throughout. Every detail, from decor to amenities, reflects coastal living. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, we enjoyed it as a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. With thoughtful touches and a pristine setting, it offered a delightful escape and easy access to the local train station (5 minutes walk ), Aberdour beach (3 minutes walk) and smooth access to Edinburgh city centre by train. We highly recommend as it made our Edinburgh Fringe experience even more memorable. Thank you, Anne!
