Friendly convenient stay

Pros: Location was good just outside Brodick - host was very friendly & accommodating.

Cons: Didn’t refill the supplies in our room.

Informal, friendly and very pleasant.

Pros: Location, and staff engagement were great. The owners & staff/family were very engaging and gave the experience an informal friendly feel.

Cons: Room 2 - my friend’s room was lovely. Our room 6 in the annexe was next to room 5 which had some noisy plumbing issues. Nothing during the night so no issues.

Welcoming and homely its always about the people who run it and they were fabulous

Pros: Allandale House had a lovely homey feel. However our hosts, Mark and Jenny were just fabulous and certainly went the extra mile to make our stay very special. I thought this was a continental breakfast - it was fabulous with everything you could possibly wish for. Best scrambled eggs ever!! Spoilt for choice.

Cons: We really didn’t like leaving. The bathroom was on landing but ours alone so that wasn’t a problem. The bedroom wasn’t large for 2 adults with too much luggage, but we managed fine!

Pros: Mitch was a welcoming host who was there to greet us on arrival. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was good.

Mitch was friendly and helpful to his guests.

Pros: Nice location. Very well looked after gardens and lovely view.

Cons: Could be laid out better.

Pros: We had a comfortable stay. Mitch was very friendly and accommodating with great suggestions on what to do. The breakfast was incredible! Location perfect with an easy walk from the town and ferry. Would highly recommend, exactly as photos show.

Allandale on Arran at Brodick

Pros: Friendly hosts. Happy that I was able to grab early cereal before rushing for the ferry. Bed very comfortable.

Cons: Having to ask for more milk and tea bags. Room not tidied each day (bed not touched). Teabags and milk not replenished after use. Water on arrival not replenished after being used.

We had a great stay with a welcoming host and were looked after with consideration.

Pros: Our host was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast spread was varied with a good choice of different foods. The property was in a pleasant setting with well kept gardens.

Cons: The hotel is a bit of a long trudge from town up a hill but it’s all over after a few minutes.

Excellent position to explore the Isle of Arran.

Pros: Mitch was an entertaining host. Breakfast was very satisfying. Well positioned to walk into Brodick for meals.
