Excellent facility. Exceptional value for money. Delightful location

Pros: It was a lovely guesthouse, the bed was so soft and loved that there was 2 pillows. The room was super clean and the hosts were very nice as well were arriving later than check out and were able to leave the keys for us in a safe place so we didn’t disturb them.

Pros: From the minute I arrived Norwood was very welcoming especially the Proprietor.....my room was homely and immaculate....my on suite bathroom was so luxurious..... And my sleep was comfortable........ I will certainly stay again......

Cons: My whole experience at the Norwood was💯🤩

Pros: The breakfast was amazing. We were a short drive from Ben Lomond, so enjoyed hiking there one day. We had friends who lived in Balloch, so we were able to walk to their houses easily from the guest house.

Had a pleasant stay, good value for money and lovely hosts

Pros: Breakfast was good and good value for money, the owners were very welcoming and helpful.

Cons: Main concern was the mattress being uncomfortable and could feel the springs coming through. Would benefit by being changed or at least having a topper.

Pros: Great facilities, good location for exploring Loch Lomond and getting train to Glasgow. Great breakfast.

Cons: I was in a room at the front and it was a bit noisy from traffic and people in the evenings.

Comfortable, Convenient, Clean and a Great Value for the Price

Pros: We were immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the home and the friendly owners, Peter and Miria. Our room had a brand new bathroom, comfortable bed, plenty of electrical outlets and a table with chairs. We enjoyed the use of a communal kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee, and a washer/dryer for a small fee. The highlight though, was Peter's delicious Scottish breakfast with eggs, potatoes, beans, bacon, sausage, haggis, toast, pastries, juice and much more! The location is particularly convenient with a small grocery store across the street and shops, restaurants, pubs, and park all a few steps away. Plenty of free parking

Cons: The water pressure in the shower was a little low and the control somewhat confusing to use.

Central, comfortable, and friendly

Pros: Great location right in the centre of Balloch, very close to the station and and just down from the Country Park. The room was comfortable and well equipped, super clean, and had a nice big bath. Really comfortable bed and they made a great breakfast too. The owners were very accomodating when I asked to arrive after the standard check-in window. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Nice, friendly, hospitable owners. Lovely room with pretty view, comfy bed and great shower. The breakfast was cheap, filling and delicious. The location was great, close to public transport and good food options. Place was clean as well.

Cons: Using the laundry costs £5, which was painful. This was the only down side to this accom, otherwise, it was great.
