Pros: Breakfast as expected an assortment to choose from fruit yogurt cereal and full Scottish breakfast Just request as you book by sending a message or the night before. The dinning room was a lovely setting and service was superb

Pros: Lovely property with stylish decor. Complimentary nice dram in the living room. Fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee.

Stop over

Pros: Great property with great backstory, room was warm and comfortable and the facilities were excelent

Cons: A little difficult to find, maybe using what3words would help find the location easier

Eclectic beautiful family reset

Pros: Absolutely beautiful retreat for myself hubby & child It had a home from home feel & our little one loved that he could play the guitar and a ray of board games in the sitting room. It it eclectic & stunning. I would say the sign posting to enter is quite challenging to follow as it’s off road. However thid place I have recommended for family to book coming over in the summer. I adored its downtown abbey feel it’s large grounds.If you’re seeking solitude & peace the place is perfect ! Thank you ever so much for your friendly welcome

Cons: Nothing at all to do with the mansion the only fault is the road coming into it you would miss the entrance as some sat nav’s do not show & not clear sign postage running up to the entrance off the main road.

Pros: Breakfast fresh and very good, but should be included in price. Only there for one night, used the facilities in Livingston, pleasantly surprised at the shopping centre complex.

Cons: Only tips, hotel need to sort out a new post code as the existing one takes you to a new housing development. Not sure if you type in the accommodations name would be better. Also didn't realize that you couldn't check in until 16:30

Extremely comfortable stay

Pros: Excellent room in a the mansion. A very cosy and plush common seating area with welcome drinks. The room and upholstery was extremely clean. The surrounding lawn was also very nice

Cons: Wish there was a small kitchenette in The apartment to warm and eat take away meals. Other than that it was a fantastic stay

Best dog friendly venue ever

Pros: We had a lovely welcome and were encouraged to live in the house as if it were a second home. The fact that our dogs were included in our stay with such genuine warmth made Limefield our favourite venue in the Edinburgh area.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Ideal for peaceful, no fuss, work trip location works for commutes to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Pros: The property is of a very high standard, excellent breakfast, rooms are kept clean and tidy.

Cons: A period character property, well appointed, with a friendly family residence feel, well maintained inside and out.
