Perfect stay to just get away from normal life. Beautiful place to stay in lovely surroundings. Well done to owners.

Pros: Property was lovely and clean. Had everything we needed and more. Shower was perfect and the bed was really comfortable. The heater doubled up as an oven which was great. Hot tub was wood fired so my other half got to play with fire. Perfect location for us.

Cons: Nothing.

Amazing place to get away for a peaceful break.

Pros: This is a great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere remote and peaceful. It was lovely to see the sheep, chickens and chicks and the views are stunning and is only a 25 minute drive into Campbelltown.

Cons: There was nothing about our stay that we didn't like or enjoy.

Gem of a place - fabulous host

Pros: A gem of a place. Perfect size for 2 people and our dog. The enclosed garden was great for the dog. Everything was clean and comfortable, bed was super comfy. Loved the hot tub. Views are spectacular. In a great location between Tarbert and Campbeltown. Catherine was just the best host, super friendly and always on the end of the phone if needed. She went out of her way for us. Got to meet the new lambs on the farm and even witnessed one being born. Would highly recommend - we can’t wait to return.

Amazing scenery out of a dream

Pros: Absolutely beautiful location. The most stunning sunsets and beautiful night sky. I've never seen so many stars and shooting stars in my life. Despite being on a farm it was super quiet and the accommodation was exceptionally clean. The host was super helpful as well with lighting the hot tub for us early and providing more fire when needed. It felt super private too and so much to do nearby. Our dogs literally were exhausted on the end of each day. Definitely would recommend

A relaxing weekend stay

Pros: The location was amazing. Perched on a hill on farmland above the village of Muasdale not far from Campbeltown. Overlooking the sea, looking over to the isles of Ghia, Jura, Cara and even Islay. At night in the hottub, after watching the sun go down, then looking up at the stars, watching the lights from ships in the distance and even watching lighthouses flash from as far away as Ireland. It was so peaceful, with very little light pollution. Heaven. Catherine, the owner met us on arrival, explained everything in the well equipped Shepherds hut we stayed in. When we went for dinner on our first night she light the Woodburner that heated the hottub. This was a wonderful way to end out day, so relaxing.

Cons: Leaving on our last morning.

Pros: Absolutely everything. The views were amazing, the hut was beautiful too with one of the comfiest beds we’ve slept in. Catherine went above and beyond, a brilliant host.

Cons: I wish the chairs we had to sit in were a little comfier although I appreciate there is limited space

Beautiful and relaxing

Pros: A beautiful and comfortable little lodge perfect for a nice getaway, with stunning views out over the water. Has everything you could need for a trip away and Catherine was always available via message to answer any questions.

Cons: The hut could get quite warm because of the time of year, I would maybe suggest fly screens for some of the windows in order to let some air in without inviting little insects in too.
