Had a wonderful stay at Fox Lodge

Pros: Being so close to Pucks Glen, lots of wild animals, red squirrels running about and friendly robins

Cons: May be some standard wine glasses would be good?

Nice lodge for a few nights

Pros: Lovely quiet location, easy distance from Dunoon with good facilities, this was a pleasant lodge ideal for a few nights. Good WiFi connection.

Cons: Brought our own pillows as feather pillows were mentioned in description but there was also feather duvets which 2 of us are allergic to. No freezer so no ice/frozen items. Quite dark, some of the lampshades were also wooden. Would have liked some drawers in addition to the open shelves.

Pros: host sorted out slight problem with hot water in the sink in the bathroom, and gave some good tips on things to see, very helpful

Lovely relaxing stay, will definitely come back again.

Pros: Brilliant place to stay with family, children ages 7 and 9 thought it was great and loved all the wee fox details. Close enough to Dunoon to drive in and out and close to lots of lovely forest walks and gardens.

Cons: A wee freezer in kitchen would have been a bonus.

A great location for a family holiday in Argyll, with plenty of nearby walks and stunning views.

Pros: Excellent location for the Puck's Glen waterfall trail and nearby walks. Easy access to shops and supermarkets with a fuel station less than ten minutes away. Secluded location with plenty of wildlife.

Cons: Would have been useful to have a freezer with the undercounter fridge when planning meals for the stay, but not really a problem with plenty of grocery shops nearby.

Comfortable and complete log cabin in Argyll and Bute

Pros: We've been staying in different log cabins at Lamond Lodges at Puck's Glen over the years. Now, with a dog, we had to find one that allows pets so we were happy to see that Fox Lodge is dog friendly. The lodge is very complete and has (almost*) everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Cons: As others have said, it would be nice to have a washing machine available after muddy walks (there is space for a washing machine in the bathroom). The cabin could have been cleaner, we found dusty areas in the bedrooms and under the pull-out sofas in the living room (when looking for a lost dog toy) and we were doubtful whether or not one of the bed sheets were clean.

Super 7 day break in a luxurious log cabin.

Pros: So much roomier and much more comfortable than a caravan. Spotless.

Cons: No freezer, not even a little one in the fridge.
