A cosy place with exceptional views and host.

Pros: I visited in February and despite the wintery conditions, I loved the view and being so cosy. The hot tub was a joy.

Peaceful, quiet, very wet (can't stop weather in Scotland) but worth it.

Pros: The peace and quiet of the remote location, the views, the sheep literally at your doorstep - felt like we were the only people on Earth, just what I wanted - a break from technology and society. The fact that there is no extra charges for dogs is so welcoming and rare especially on a working farm.

Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about, extra charges for the hot tub for wood is more than reasonable. Unfortunately the weather prevented any BBQs but this was made up for by a superb air-fryer haha!

Private location and exceptional views

Pros: Location felt very private and personal, quiet surroundings with sheep and chickens around, a beautiful place. Based at the top of a hill, the views were exceptional. Full frontal seaview, with a glimpse of Northern Ireland & Islay. The sunets were stunning also.

The ultimate tranquility in nature experience.

Pros: The location was absolutely stunning. Complete silence except from the window through the grass and the occasional sneezing sheep. Amazing to relax in the hot tub at night and see EVERYTHING in the sky. The cabin itself had everything you could need. We were looking for a romantic getaway and a reset from city life, and this was that and more.

Cons: That we had to leave :(
