Stunning location and a comfortable retreat for a seaside break,

Pros: The location, the restful, tasteful colours of the decor, the very comfortable sofas, the well equipped kitchen (even though I didn’t really use it). The terrific bus service in and out of Rothesay.

Cons: The lack of spare sockets especially in the bedroom, and the lack of shelf space near the bed. I’m small and was on my own but a larger person or a couple would find the bedroom and shower room / loo very cramped But I know it’s hard to organise these things in a period property that was never designed to have a bathroom. I would have liked better identification of the correct close to go into and a light switch for the stairs.

Comfortable little flat

Pros: Very comfortable and had everything we needed. The views were spectacular. The shower was good and the kitchen was well equipped with a good cooker and decent size fridge with freezer compartment.

Cons: The building lacked any curb appeal. Not very welcoming on first impression which was a shame because the flat was lovely .
