Castleview is a lovely flat in a listed building

Great flat if you are fit and good at figuring out how things work.

Pros: Views of the castle were superb. The neighbour was very helpful.

Cons: No instructions about how to put on hot water or heating. Nothing to dry the dishes with. It would have been helpful to know how many flights of stairs there were up to the flat - the turns on the stairs were very challenging for my friend.

Pros: I wish my house was as clean as this was. It was brilliant in every way and hope to come back soon

Cons: I liked the simplicity of everything and my mates did aswell

Pros: Lovely apartment in a very central location with easy access to shops and all amenities.

Great little place in a central location, great value for money.

Pros: Great location. Enough space for four people comfortably.

Cons: Nothing really. Just be wary that there are lots of steps if you are less mobile.

Ideal location, stunning view!

Pros: The location is perfect with the ferry and shops at your door. The host was lovely and friendly. The flat is perfect for a weekend’s stay. Would come back and stay again.

Great wee flat in a great location

Pros: Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, lovely view of the castle, WiFi. Very central to Rothesay - near shops and transport.

Cons: It's the top.floor of the tenement- 66 steps to the front door may be a bit much for some but nothing we couldn't handle thankfully!

Pros: Flat was spotless. Everything you needed for a few days away. Good location and very comfortable

Pros: great central location. immaculate lovely bedding towels etc stayed one night with family when car broke down and missed last ferry home. so glad we found this place. fabulous views of castle from large bay window

Cons: resident on first floor heavy smoker outside door and smell wafted all way up to flat. the moment we opened the door we could smell it

A lovely stay in a great flat that is value for money and has a perfect location. Thanks.

Pros: The location of the flat is perfect for a stay in Rothesay and exploring the island. The flat itself is only 100 metres from the ferry terminal but facing the castle. The keys are kept in a lock box and easy to access. The flat itself was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Cons: The flat is on the top (3rd floor) and so expect two flights of stairs. It was fine for us as no mobility issues. Unfortunately, there are some smokers on the first floor and so the staircase window is open to keep the air fresh.
