City Retreat by the Castle Free Designated Parking

A Stirling place in a Stirling city.

Pros: Impeccably clean. Great location with dedicated car parking space and easy access to all the sights.

Cons: Not my favourite shower hot water system but found in many properties in the UK and fine for our two night stay.

Pros: The apartment is beautifully clean and bright very spacious and very comfortable, the view of the castle is just lovely, Diane is a fabulous host always available for any problems.

Pros: The outside of the property doesn't do it justice. It is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. It is also a good location for a visit to the castle.

Pros: Very good location (indeed splendid view of the castle), easy to find, a gigantic Sainsbury's very nearby, in walking distance from the castle, the city center ànd a very attractive restaurant (River House). Pleasant way of communication with the owner, ample space to park your car on your own spot, everything you need is present and last but not least: one of the best beds we have ever slept in!

Cons: Nothing at all!

Very comfortable 2 night stay

Pros: A Very light and airy apartment, balcony is a great spot for sitting out. Spotless. Location is great, walkable to centre or a short taxi trip. Parking is much appreciated too. All appliances in kitchen to get cooking - or not 😄 Host is very accommodating and friendly. Will return again when returning to Stirling. Easy to reach Falkirk Wheel and to visit the Kelpies.

Pros: Impeccably clean, very quiet with comfy beds - felt like home. Loved the balcony to sit out on and look up at the castle. Diane was an excellent host, always available if required. Great to have a designated car park. Highly recommend to stay here!

Great modern apartment, minutes in a taxi from Castle.

Pros: Very clean, very spacious for 2 couples. Great balcony with rear view of Stirling Castle. Convenient for supermarket etc. Short taxi ride to City Centre etc. Friendly communications with owner.

Cons: All was good. Area has been substantially regenerated over last 20 years. We had no problems with neighbours, noise etc.

Pros: Convenient, spacious and well-equipped. Quiet. On the top floor of a three-storey building without a lift, but the stairs are easy and this gives views over the neighbourhood and up to the Castle. Free parking is very easy to use. Castle, town and a large Sainsbury's are all walkable.

Cons: Not an area with pubs, restaurants, etc., but this also means it is quiet and safe.

Good value for money, perfect location and would recommend to others.
