Castle Walk Apartment

Lovely

Pros: I’m sad because I stayed only one night. The apartment is very cute. Small, but very cozy. Everything is in its place. It’s not luxurious, but it’s very comfortable and everything works well. It has a view of the street, which is very beautiful, and a view of the back, which is very poetic. I loved it. The downstairs door has a code, the upstairs door has a heater. There is a staircase, but it’s very easy to climb and not noisy. There are no cameras, but I felt very safe. you come from the station via Cowane Street, the apartment is at the intersection with Upper Bridge Street, to the left side ,in a white door next to a Chinese restaurant, number 3Aand B .

Pros: The location is perfect. Stirling is a beautiful town full of so much rich history. Glasgow and Edinburgh are also short train journeys away (at 27mins and 45mins each respectively). The host is very friendly through messages and really approachable, additionally the cleaner is very sweet. During our trip she left clean towels in a bag outside the door so we could swap them out with our dirty ones. Overall it's great, my second time at this flat and I doubt it'll be my last.

Cons: Stairs can be a bit steep if you are carrying up a big suitcase

Pros: Great little place for its price, host wasn't there but was very helpful via messages. Lovely king size bed. Perfect for a solo/couple stop over

Pros: location was perfect, Stirling is without a doubt a beautiful little place, with alot of history. Close to train station, shops and landmarks... Although we didnt meet the staff, found communication was exceptional and allowing for early check in was extremely appreciated 😊 The note left with clean towels was a lovely and friendly touch and again, it was appreciated.. Will stay again!

Cons: The steps/stairs in the property i found a little scary, but thats due to my own personal health reasons.. and i wasnt keen on the hob being so close to the sink, other than that couldnt fault it.

Great wee flat.

Pros: Flat looks bigger and is comfier than photos show. Lovely comfortable bed. Kitchen has basic utensils for self catering so you can cook. Great to have kitchen roll, washing up liquid and washing up cloth/sponge. Good location 10 mins walk from Town, Castle and Train Station. Near to local bus stops for going to the Safari Park or catching the Open Top Bus. I feel the cold so great being able to adjust the heating.Would happily stay again.

Cons: The kitchen cupboards needed a bit of organising.

Pros: The location was perfect for our needs as we were planning to use Stirling as a base to go around Loch Lomond and Glencoe. There was free curbside parking across the apartment, and the car could be easily seen from the room. Walking to Stirling castle took less than 15 minutes, but it was a bit steep. The neighborhood was quiet in general, with a Tesco nearby. The instructions to get the key and enter the building provided were easy to understand. The apartment was pretty spacious for 2, and the bed was quite comfortable to sleep in. It was also good having one heater near the bed so that we would be kept warm during our stay.

Cons: For clarity, the building entrance is on the ground floor, but getting into the apartment requires going up 1 set of spiral staircases.
