Stylish Flat in 1860's Listed Building

Pros: Lovely flat with all the facilities you need for a comfortable trip. Very easy to reach other parts of Edinburgh.

Pros: Very well laid out flat. The furniture and stocks in kitchen were apt. The flat looks just like the pictures shared on booking.com

Cons: The flat is in 2nd floor and has steep steps , carrying baggage was a bit difficult

Peaceful, spacious, well-equipped and well-located, in a characterful building.

Pros: A really lovely building, beautiful gardens, very peaceful and quiet considering it was in the middle of Edinburgh - the loudest noise was the blackbird singing on the chimney!

Cons: Could do with better bedroom curtains - the blinds didn't keep any light out. Pack an eye-mask for sleeping :)

Great stay at a historic listed building, close to amenities and good secure parking.

Pros: Location was great, a short walk to restaurants for breakfast and supermarkets. Also walkable to Victoria Street and the Castle. Host was responsive as we arrived late, no problem with late access as you retrieve key from lock box. Very convenient and safe location.

Pros: Cute apartment in a great location. It was clean and stylish, and everything worked. The hosts were very responsive when I had a question.

Cons: The bed was on the firm side, which I loved, but it won't be for everyone. There was some building work going on in an adjacent building, so I kept the blinds on that side down during the day for privacy, but it wasn't a huge issue.

Perfect location, Perfect apartment.

Pros: The apartment was spacious and exceptionally clean. Shower gel, shampoo and hand wash was provided as well as tea, coffee (Nespresso pods) and sugar. The heating was turned on before our check in so we walked into a warm and cozy apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need, perfect for self catering. If you aren’t interested in cooking there are over 200 restaurants that deliver to the apartment or there is a Tesco Express just around the corner. The apartment is in the perfect location, it’s quite at night but is only a short walk to old or new town. The TV had Netflix already loaded on which meant there was no hassle of logging in to delay you from unwinding on the huge sofa. All in all a really amazing apartment.

Cons: The windows are hard to open and there is no fan which means the apartment can become somewhat stuffy. The apartment is advertised as having a balcony however the balcony is not private. It is actually the entrance to the apartment as well as three others. The advertising is misleading.

Cons: No lift hence those with heavy luggages may struggle to get to the floor. Shower water pressure is on the low side.
