nice apartment near main touristy streets in the centre of Edinburgh! would def recommend to friends

Pros: cute inside interior, convenient way to get at the apartment by the back door and not disturbing anyone, hosts and residents of the building. i recommend using the upper gates to get in and out once you've got your keys from the lockbox by the lower gates (more lively street up there). we've had a nice stay here!

Cons: minor cons: lock doesnt seem super safe (simple mechanism) but not too much of a problem. the hook on the door was NOT safe to use for keys -- you can literally get the keys from the outside through the letter hole (we've checked lol). a couple of hooks in the bathroom would be much appreciated for hanging bath towel when you go shower. but all those are minor minuses and things to consider changing for the hosts -- overall experience was pretty good!

Stylish and comfortable accommodation in the heart of the old town. Perfect for our visit to the Fringe.

Pros: Fantastic location. Right in the heart of things, yet still peaceful and quiet. Stylish decor, comfortable beds and sofas, kitchen well-stocked for utensils.

Cons: Bathroom floor looking shabby, recurring smell of drains coming from the bathroom- very apparent on arrival. More crockery needed to avoid constant washing up.

Very enjoyable

Pros: Great central location could listen to Tattoo at the castle. Garage was extremely handy for storing our bicycles ! Despite being very close to busy roads it was very peaceful !

Cons: The sofa bed was not so comfortable and maybe leave a welcome pack

Overall a positive stay in a lovely flat.

Pros: The location, cleanliness and comfort of the flat were excellent.

Cons: We struggled to prepare home cooked meals due to the lack of pans, over trays and serving dishes. I realise most folks want to eat out, but we needed to eat in given two of our kids have coeliac disease. Just to let you know, there is a constant drip from the kitchen sink tap which we were unable to stop. It made sleeping in the main room a challenge through the night. And the firestick control needs new batteries. I hope this is helpful. Nothing is shared by way of criticism.

Great location and comfortable accommodation , car park limited access

Pros: The apartment was in a great location , so close to centre of Edinburgh. Shower was good and plenty hot water, beds were very comfortable including the sofa bed. The accommodation was well laid out. Plenty of crockery and cutlery etc

Cons: The parking is underground and very tight only suitable for a smaller car. The access to the car park is difficult as well. We weren’t told this until a couple of days before and had to change our plans. This would have been good to know when booking because by the time we had the information we were unable to cancel. We might have booked somewhere else more suitable had we known. We had clearly booked for 5 people and the host knew were were using the sofa bed but there was no window covering on the living room window. We had to find some make shift cover which kept falling down. No extra bedding or throws.

Great stay at Edinburgh

Pros: Very comfortable and well equipped apartment in a great neighborhood with everything you may need for a great stay. Smart tvs, fast and stable internet, well equipped kitchen, fully carpeted floors (sleeping rooms), comfortable sofa bed and a great shower! Professional management of the apartment with a very kind contact.

Cons: It is not that we didn’t like but mind to bring your own shampoos, we needed to buy washing sponges and cleaning lap for the dishes, but those are minor things compared with the rest, everything was very nice.

Pros: Good location and cosy. Easy walking to places of interest. Clear instructions given for checking in and getting to the place. Host is responsive and helpful.

Cons: We had a car so just be aware of the parking entrance. Host provides clear instructions.

Great for Family

Pros: I came to this property with three of my best friends to celebrate the youngest of us turning 30 this year, we were looking for a property big enough to sleep the four of us comfortably that was withing walking distance of the city centre, and we really couldn't have asked for a better place. Everything was wonderful when staying in this property. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow, property was clean and well presented. Beds and bedding was beautifully comfortable, kitchen was well supplied, bathroom had a lovely modern look and a fabulous waterfall shower. Location was absolutely fantastic, couldn't be more central if it tried being a less than a minute from the Grassmarket and with a gorgeous view of Edinburgh castle from the front door. Additionally, the living room had a TV with streaming services installed which made it easy to spend an evening chilling in the apartment as well.

Cons: The only things I would say weren't so great was that the bathroom had a somewhat unsavoury smell when we arrived, but we found an air freshener and that cleared right up. Also, when we went to use the kettle to make some tea, we found it was leaking so we decided not to use it. But those were the only things that could count against this place, and they were by no means deal breakers, which is why I've still chosen to rate everything as excellent.
