Melville Street Apartment

Pros: Location is very central, secure and fantastic. Very well connected with local transport or also very central to walk everywhere. The Apartment is very spacious and very comfortable with all facilities. Central heating great, very hot, for the winter climate. Very clean. In few words it is exceptional and a must stay if you are visiting Edinburgh. Awasome. I will recommend to everyone I know.

Lovely flat in west end.

Pros: Love the huge living room as I can invite many in my family for apéritifs. Love the large bedroom. Bed is comfy.

Cons: The toilet is too low for me. The fan in the bathroom seems likely to stop working. The linoléum needs replacing or scrubbing, it's very dirty.

Comfortable base to visit new Town and relax.

Pros: The ground floor flat is easily accessible, and located a few steps from the Haymarket station. An easy walk both to Old and New Town, to the Walk of Leith, to the Modern art galleries, to buses and train connections. Very convenient for our purposes. Plenty of good restaurants and shops in the area.

Cons: We managed to avoid the hefty surcharge for a late check-in (40 pounds after 10 pm, read the fine print) but we had to wait for the person in charge of opening the flat. Explanations were cursory to say the least. The bedroom is quite comfortable, the kitchen is well provided but without a table, and the sitting room is grandiose with two sofas. The bathroom is really tiny, and the basin is smaller than an A4 paper sheet. The area is very quiet at night, during the day you can hear the nursery nearby, which did not bother us, but there can be quite some screaming. Good wifi.

Fab weekend stay!

Pros: It was just a 5 minute walk to the tram stop so was able to access a lot of the area via tram. The street was nice and quiet (was during the weekend so not sure if that differs during the week). The flat was provided with throw blankets and electric heaters which helped as the living room did become colder during the late evening! Very spacious! A lot of communication from Cathy which helped the check in and check out run smoothly!

Cons: The walls are very thin, could hear the nursery next door (did not negatively affect the trip) more of a negative as we were extremely conscious of how loud we were speaking etc.

Pros: Buena ubicación, suficientemente alejada del ruido del centro pero muy cerca de Princess St. Zona muy bien conecta con buses, tranvía y tren para todos lados.

Pros: De ligging en de ruimte. Net buiten het centrum en toch overal dichtbij.

Cons: Niets, maar het was jammer dat je niet ergens buiten kon zitten. Dan moest je op straat op een bankje zitten.

Pros: Der Charme des Appartements ist einfach toll. Es ist Urig, viel Platz und total gemütlich. Das Appartement liegt sehr günstig und man ist in ca.5 Min an der Princess Street

Cons: Gibt nix

Perfecta

Pros: La ubicación es perfecto. El edificio también. Los espacios amplios.

Super lokalita blízko centra Edinburgu

Pros: Pěkná lokalita, uklizený pokoj, možnost dřívějšího check-inu. Kousek od tramvaje/autobusu a obchodu.

Cons: Na fotkách je vše úplně nové a v reálu je starší. Nic ale nebylo rozbité.
