Nice welcoming place, kitchen needed more help for such a busy time

Pros: Welcoming place, staff lovely, comfy beds, great shower, good breakfast. Evening entertainment.

Cons: Restaurant staff did great job attending to evening diners (obviously a popular place to eat) but don't know what happened in kitchen as my dessert pastry case was completely uncooked, just had filling and topping added to a raw pastry - for 6.95.

Good value for money, friendly staff, good service and clean room.

Pros: The location is accesible to bus and trains, room was clean and organized. Food was great too, there are kids meal options. Dog friendly hotel. Though its a pub/restobar downstairs, we were still able to have a good sleep.

Cons: Not much. Just another wee table in our room maybe if we would like to eat privately. But other than that, our stay was great.

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff and good breakfast made us feel quite at home.

Pros: Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The location was quite central to the town, which is what we wanted.

Cons: The curtains needed attention - one corner was hanging down from the rail, which meant they would not keep all the daylight out (if it hadn't been dark for most of the time we were in the room).

Interestingly Unique

Pros: The price was good. The bar staff member who checked me in was friendly. The single bed was comfortable and I had a good rest. The bathroom was very clean. The room was small, but I had no issue with that. It was nice and warm. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Cons: I can't say there was anything I found objectionable.
