Great hotel right next to the Castle

Pros: Amazing location right beside the Castle, Royal Mile and the Old Town. Lovely large and exceptionally clean room with all the normal conveniences and facilities. Highly recommend.

Cons: A full length mirror in the room who have been good. The leads didnt quite stretch to the bathroom to dry my hair.

Pros: Great location if you want to experience the atmosphere of medieval Edinburgh — it’s right in the heart of the Old Town. The hotel had everything we needed: lift, shower gel, shampoo, soap, and clean towels. The room was cleaned every day, and snacks were replenished daily as well. Special thanks for the filtered water station on the floor — you could fill a jug with clean drinking water at any time.

Cons: We felt quite uncomfortable without a toilet brush. We understand that it’s a 4-star hotel, but it was still uncomfortable to call the staff every time it needed to be cleaned.

Excellent location and staff

Pros: The location was excellent for all the attractions such as the 'Harry Potter hill' and Greyfriars and plenty pubs and restaurants within very short walking distances. The hotel feels very safe and is quite quiet. We didn't hear any noise from outside or in the corridor which was a major plus. The room had plenty space and very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Cons: I think this might be just a personal preference when it comes to mattresses but the bed wasn't very comfortable. I think it being firm mattress, I woke up sore and didn't sleep well through the night.

Amazing location with Parking 🅿️

Pros: Excellent room, well appointed clean and in a great location. We walked everywhere from here. Car parking was excellent and very close. Staff were amazing. Thank you 🙏
