Absolutely amazing stay! Great location, superb staff!

Pros: Absolutely fantastic staff! Lorna and Karl are so nice and so helpful! They really made our holiday! The hostel is well equipped and in a great location! Great value for money!

Pros: Really nice place to stay. Staff was really nice and helpful and the place clean and comfortable. Location good in a sense that in the center of Port Charlotte with it's services nearby (restaurants, shop, distillery). Town itself also very cozy and pleasant. Room itself was ok. Enjoyed my stay here a lot!

Cons: Nothing really. Quite far from the ferries but that was ok.

Comfy, quiet, clean, great value stay for solo cyclist

Pros: Comfy beds, everything very clean, good self catering facilities, secure and dry bike shed, thoughtful allocation of rooms.

Cons: Milk on the breakfast table seemed slightly off - but there was fresh in fridge so that was fine!

Great location and perfect for a couple of nights on Islay

Pros: Lounge comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Drying room useful. Good selection of games and staff friendly with good information provided. Well placed for pub at hotel and seafood restaurant. And a dip in the loch!

Cons: Room on small side for five. Breakfast limited and basic for price

A perfect hostel in a beautiful location

Pros: Was an excellent hostel. Very welcoming from the staff, room was immaculate and beds were very comfy. Location was perfect too, lovely beach about 30 seconds behind the hostel was the perfect place to take a wander before bed

Pros: The hostel was immaculate, with great hosts, and it was in a beautiful part of Islay. I also met a Frenchman who was staying in the bed above me who I stayed with in a hostel in Australia when I lived there.

Cons: Nothing , except for a couple of heavy snorers which made it difficult to get to sleep, though when you are staying in a dorm it is to be expected.

Pros: The hostel was very comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge . The view of the sea and the beach from the hostel window was lovely.
