1 Planetree Cottage - Loch View

Pros: Gorgeous cottage, had everything we needed for a cosy break away

Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like (apart from the rain)

We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful place, even saw red squirrels. What’s not to love

Pros: The welcome info was thorough, complete and accurate. The cottage was; clean, warm and cosy. The location was spot on, with amazing views from the property and great walks around the area.

Cons: Nothing really it was all lovely. Would have have liked there to be a cafetière

Perfectly located accommodation for all activities

Pros: The location made absolutely everything accessible and the beautiful views from the accommodation, are hard to beat. Off road parking was especially welcome, as we have an autistic child. The rooms are a good size, very clean, with plenty of storage and hanging space. Nice to have space to sit outside also, especially in better weather. Great kitchen, with oven/hob and microwave, instead of just a microwave only, that's found in a lot of accommodation these days. Overall, a great sized and cosy place to stay, with or without a family, whether it's a base - if you're going exploring - or, just want a quiet break away! My rating is showing as an 8.0 for the property, but realistically, it's closer to 9/10.

Cons: If I had to be really fussy, the shower was a bit tempremental and couldn't get the living room window to open, side door lock was a bit sticky too. Back garden needs a wee spruce up, looked a bit deserted, however it was tidy. Some hanging space maybe, for damp towels and such (post swim) a bit closer to the property, rather than having to walk away up the back of the garden over wet grass? (didn't want to keep dragging grass in to the house and didn't want to be drying anything on radiators, especially if the weather is warm and dry) there is an unfair question on here, about bed comfort, which I've answered honestly, but everyone has their own preference. Front room mattress was very firm, but someone else may prefer that. I'm a bit of a goldilocks when it comes to beds... That's about it really! :)

Lovely accommodation in a gorgeous location.

Pros: The location was excellent. We love Lochgoilhead and know it fairly well as family came from there. Cottage was perfect for our needs. Was well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Wish we had been able to stay longer!

Very enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings and stunning location

Pros: Fabulous location and sensitively renovated - a lovely ambiance.

Cons: Nothing, but I would suggest a few more cooking utensils launch as oven dishes and a peeler.

We would stay again, the cottage was wonerdful, peaceful and we admired the views all around.

Pros: An excellent cottage, modern and clean with everything we needed inside with helpful information about the property local area.

Cons: Two small little things: The lock barrel on the side door used to access the cottage is a little loose and should probably be replaced. The shower screen was not completely water tight as the seal was worn.
