Everything you need for a very comfortable stay

Pros: It’s a lovely house with two spacious double bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom. We had all the facilities we needed - washing machine, dryer, dish washer, even a large fan, a good size tv with Freeview, a coffee pod machine - we didn’t want for anything. Very comfortable beds and a walk-in shower. Plenty of towels. My dog was welcome and the owner even left us some dog food and treats for her, and shortbread, tea, coffee and milk for us. An added bonus was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! I appreciated the welcome sign for us too!

Cons: The living room furniture wasn’t as comfortable as it could be - I’d have loved a cosy sofa to snuggle into. The living room layout is also a bit odd, it’s long and fairly narrow with the original front door (not used) leading straight into it. With a fireplace being the main focal point, everything is focused on that instead of the lovely view across the water. There were an awful lot of unnecessary knick-knacks which had to be put out the way.

Pros: Bay view was beautiful and homely with every thing thought of. The views are to die for in a peaceful location. Welcome touches greatly appreciated and our wonderful hostess Rhona.
