Pros: Loved the mattresses, fluffed pillows and comforters. Mattresses were absolutely perfect and standard-firm. Subtle interior. Well-equipped kitchen. Recently refurbished. All necessary household facilities are available. Truly a complete home away from home. Water bottles, tissue ticky packs, the Croissants and chips, and sweets were a grand welcoming gesture for guests. The auto heating system was excellent. Hot shower and hot water system are excellent. Communication with the host and problem-solving were excellent. All amenities are available within walking distance and a 10-minute drive away. Equidistant from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Cons: The Washrooms could have a better interior. Other than the available cloth hanging stands, cloth hanging hooks are much needed behind the washroom doors, and behind the bedroom doors too. Laundry Baskets needed for both Washrooms. Salt and Pepper shakers, and some cooking oil in the kitchen. Small wardrobes in 2 of the bedrooms. The garden that can be viewed from the living room window needs some proper landscaping (it will add to the ratings) The Mowbray housing community is not so attractive as compared to the inside elegance of the Rise House (but this can be ignored) With all the amenities, the Rise House seems a bit overpriced. The Rise House has 2 floors, stairs can be tough if you are elderly or carrying lots of luggage
