Kilburn Holiday Cottage

Pros: Lovely big house great garden would have been better in the summer months

Cons: Some of the house was a little run down but it is a big house to maintain all in all had a nice time with the family

Pros: Good comfortable bed easy check in and relaxing atmosphere throughout the house and great location for our needs

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like about the property except the tv took a time to figure out but got there in the end

Excellent place with bathrooms needing urgent minor maintenance.

Pros: Excellent place with all cooking utensils, cutlery etc. Spacious house with enough rooms and bathrooms.On the checkout day, we got a bit delayed and the representative who came to do cleaning waited graciously for us to load the luggage and check out.

Cons: One of the bathroom door's know was kind of free. The bathroom door was not getting locked. I had seen other reviews complaining about this and was surprised to see that it was not fixed. One family member got trapped in another downstairs bathroom, as after shower the shower glass door jammed and did not open even after repeatedly trying for 15 mins. Finally, we had the open the bathroom door with a coin from outside, and pull the glass door open from outside. Needless to say, noone took shower there again! 🙂 These are not complaints, but note to the owner to fix please as it's too good a property to have these inconveniences. We have seen that on the other reviews, the owner asks why people don't inform her from the property so she could make it right. We did not want to get deviated from the sole purpose of Tourism in discussions, and so doing after the visit. Just will request those to be looked into and corrected, and we will visit again for sure.

Family trip to Largs.

Pros: The house and location was perfect for our recent family trip to Largs and we had a nice easy check in. The house was really spacious and the beds were very comfy. We had no issues with Wi-Fi or getting the tv to work. Brilliant stay and would recommend.

Cons: As other reviews have mentioned the house needs some slight TLC but all in all it’s a lovely property and this wouldn’t put us off booking again.

Pros: Very comfortable when travelling as a group of friends. Great location and plenty of room for 4 friends sharing

Cons: No toiletries (soap etc). Not a big issue as we came prepared but for a house with x3 bathrooms would've expected soap/hand-wash.

Pros: Cottage was very spacious especially for there being 7 of us, Cottage had everything we needed and more right down to extra towels, Cottage made us feel right at home,

Pros: Spacious and comfortable. Quiet location. Had all the amenities needed for our group of 8. Comfortable beds and clean kitchen and bathrooms.

Cons: Some wear and tear issues that didnt affect our stay. The garden has a glass greenhouse and some uneven steps. Not ideal for young kids or people with mobility issues. Dishwasher would have been convenient and welcomed.

Pros: Easy communication, comfortable and clean house with everything we needed.

Pros: Excellent property, with all facilities needed. Ideal for a family as there are several bed I and beds. Great kitchen and very comfortable lounge. Lovely location at the edge of town, backing onto woodland and a great garden. Parking for four cars

Great Weekend in Largs

Pros: Very spacious and comfortable house just outside the town centre. Really handy for sport Scotland national training centre and for access to Largs and surrounding area. Host was very helpful. Would recommend.
