Great location - clean and tidy

Pros: Excellent stay. Good communication from Catherine to get into the accommodation, clean and tidy, Ample kitchen utilities, washing machine and dryer. Catherine and Peter also have a created a welcome book with local tourist attractions, contact information and restaurants. Great location to walk to the local pubs, locals were very hospitiable. Recommend the Railway Tavern, and meet Ronnie. Then wander down to as Auld Hoose to meet some locals. Recommend Ilarios for fish and chips! We used this location to do day trips to explore the country. Would also be a good central location to see Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay

Pros: Very spacious and had everything we needed. It was also very quiet around the property

Cons: Sometimes the parking outside the house was full and we had to park further away and we did want to park at the back of the property

Home from home, amazing stay

Pros: Very generous sized rooms, comfy sofas, a home from home with added extras with the welcome basket and bits in the fridge. Two bathrooms to choose from, on street parking, local shops and restaurants just a walk away. Bedroom a lovely size, smart TV so could watch whatever we wanted. Lots of crockery and cutlery. Very clean all throughout the property.

Cons: soft mattress on the double bed, but that might just be our preference.

Great stay Highly recommended

Pros: Had a great stay in Kincardine the welcome basket of goodies is a nice touch they also provided a loaf of bread and some milk and butter which was nice. The house was very clean and tidy and great with two bathrooms when your travelling with kids. The house is in a very quiet area with plenty of parking on the street their is also parking at the rear of the house but we never had to use it. The house is in a great location for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh their are also a couple of nice bars within walking distance of the house and a decent little supermarket The communication with the owner Catherine was great she always replied promptly during the booking process,we will definitely use it again next time we visit Edinburgh. Think it is one of the best value for money houses we have stayed in.

Cons: Would have been nice with a BBQ but maybe it wasn't allowed because of the fire risk it was very dry their was even a fire on Arthur's Seat when we stayed

Wonderful stay in this warm, comfortable house. Central base to explore both cities and countryside.

Pros: Great Location. Spotless and comfortable. Lovely main bedroom with ensuite. Fantastic communication from the hosts who were responsive in answering our queries. Much appreciated, thank you so much.

Cons: We liked everything - one wee detail, raising the shower head in the main bathroom would make it perfect.

Pros: Excellent location for Edinburgh park and ride, Falkirk wheel and Kelpies and Stirling. Nice quiet location, friendly locals and good local information provided by the owners.

Cons: More greenery in the garden would be nice

Pros: Home from home, that we returned to for a second time. Central for travelling around the area.
