Redding House

We liked our stay, this place is definitely worth to choose for family stay.

Pros: The property had all required for comfort stay. Location is perfect, big shop (Tesco) is nearby and train station as well. Owner is very helpful and responsive.

Cons: Nothing particularly, the only concern was about neighbours. First night they were celebrating something till 1 AM. Other nights were ok

Nice cosy house in a quiet location.

Pros: The location was excellent. It was close to public attractions and amenities (e.g. Tesco). The house was clean, comfortably and a good size for a family of four. The street was quiet and the neighbours were friendly.

Cons: Only a few minor issues. The kitchen could have done with a dish rack, another tea towel and some kitchen roll. Instructions for how to operate the oven would have helped. The bathroom had no hooks for hanging clothes or drying towels, which made it a bit inconvenient when showering:bathing as there was no where to put clothes/towels. We ended up using the drying rack to dry the towels.

Pros: Good location for working in the Refinery. We had two vans, so parked one on the drive and the other in the road.

There's a small convenience store very nearby, which enabled us to get some bits we needed.

Pros: The location was perfect for us. The host was responsive and the place was easy to get into. When we arrived, the weather was horrible. Thankfully, we were able to check in early. The place was spacious for us to hang out and relax. The kitchen met all our needs. There are ample appliances and utencils for cooking though we did not cook meals that required the stove. The only issue was how warm it was in the evening. It would have been nice to have a fan available for the rooms. But who knew it would be hot in Scotland? There's a fridge and freezer, which was lovely for storing our food and refreezing icepacks as we travel. Overall, a lovely place.

Cons: Must be careful on the back steps leading down to the garden.
