Lovely place to stay

Pros: The property was very cosy and had everything you needed. We self catered and it was well stocked. Fiona was lovely and very friendly and helpful. Great location for Loch Lomond and the surrounding area.

A cosy cottage in a great location for exploring Loch Lomond

Pros: The property was cosy and welcoming and very well equipped. There was an outside area which we didn't use because of the weather but would have been lovely on a sunny day. There was off road parking just outside the property. The host was on hand to show us around and explain the facilities. She suggested places to visit and where to eat which was really helpful. It was an easy walk into town to restaurants and the boat trips. There was also a lovely park nearby with great views of Loch Lomond which we enjoyed exploring. The area was relatively quiet, the property was situated just off the main road into Balloch, but once in the house you couldn't hear the traffic. The position of the house was great for exploring the local area, including Luss and Balmaha.

Cosy traditional cottage

Pros: The cottage is unique and historical, it's built over a stream because it used to be a working smithy. The cottage is so cosy and well furnished with a Highlands theme. Both bedrooms are a good size, comfy with en suite. The living room and kitchen have everything you need to make it a home from home and the host is lovely and welcoming.

Cons: Everything was great.

Pros: The cottage is very well decorated and very well equipped and the area is really quiet. Parking is perfect and location is great to visit surrounding areas.

Cons: Nothing to say.

Pros: The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The level of provision of towels, blankets, kitchen utensils etc was excellent as was the welcome by Fiona. Everything about the cottage was done to a high degree and our stay couldn't have been any more pleasant. We would definitely recommend it as a great base from which to explore central Scotland and the lower Highlands.

Cons: We would be very hard pushed to think of anything negative, actually we can't. Likewise it is impossible to think of anything that could be added to improve an already perfect property.

Pros: The host was there to meet us. She was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was very equipped, clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We would definitely return

Pros: Easy check in, good communication with Fiona, spotlessly clean, great location for me, very well appointed, especially the kitchen, warm, very comfortable bed and last but not least, sharp knives!!! 10/10

Cons: The fact that I had to leave.

Apartment was warm and comfy, with all the facilities you could want - an excellent holiday base.

Pros: The hosts Fiona and David were very welcoming and went to great pains to demonstrate all the facilitites of the apartment, and answered all our questions. They were also readily available to field any other issues that may have arisen during our 6 night stay. The apartment was really comfy and homely, and nice and quiet, which was essential for us as light sleepers. In summary it made an excellent base for our stay.

Cons: Nothing - everything was OK.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
