Rosebank Cottage - Hot Tub & Log Stove

Very beautiful accommodation and would 100% recommend but just a few changes could make it a bit more practice

Pros: Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, good amount of space for cars, very cosy feel. The heated flooring was a lovely touch. We didn’t have any children with us but all children equipment in the cupboard would mean you have everything you needed if you were away with family. There was a great amount of towels and extras like soap, toilet paper etc

Cons: Only one bathroom was a bit disappointing. Considering the place is designed for between 6-8 people it’s unusual to not even have an extra little WC as I’m sure one could easily be designed into the utility room. In the bathroom there is a lovely freestanding bathtub but you wouldn’t be able to relax knowing that people could be waiting to come in. The stone steps heading up to the back of the garden could also do with being fixed or even some decent lighting there as it is really dangerous when coming out a hot tub wet and using them in the pitch black. There was also a lot of animal mess all over the grass.

Pros: Cute, cosy, clean and comfortable this lovely cottage was a quiet little haven for us for the few days we were there. We didn’t use the hot tub but the whole place was well equipped and presented.

Cons: Maybe just provide a few more pans for the kitchen? But nothing major!

Pros: Very clean, beautiful interior and well decorated. The property was well heated and bathroom was also gorgeous. Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Loved the hot tub which was completely private and exactly what we needed, and the cosy log fire.

Cons: We didn’t manage to use the cooker as it seemed like it wouldn’t switch on despite instructions and no dishwasher tablets unfortunately! But otherwise great

Pros: I really loved the charm of the cottage — it was beautifully designed, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made things very convenient, and the outdoor area was peaceful and lovely. What made the experience even better was how kind and helpful the host was — super friendly and welcoming from start to finish.

Cons: The only things that were a bit inconvenient: the area has no cell signal, which made it a little hard to stay connected — though the Wi-Fi in the cabin did help. There were also no cleaning supplies, which can be a bit of a challenge for anyone staying more than one night. Plus, some of the rooms didn’t have closets or mirrors, which made organizing and getting ready a little less comfortable.

Pros: Well equipped, lovely and quiet, very good location for sightseeing.

Cons: Nothing, only the weather. It rained.

Pros: location, beautiful property, lovely hot tub and cosy house on arrival

Pros: The hot tub was incredible and the bathroom was a real treat. The heated floor and roll top bath were highlights. The property is a short (15 minute) drive from the charming village of Drymen, which boasts a choice of pubs with distinct characters and excellent atmospheres.

Fabulous we had such a great time, will be back!
