Oban House House

Fabulous place

Pros: Very well appointed rooms and lovely shower room. Very comfortable and spacious bed. There is a small fridge with milk, water and orange juice as well as makings for tea and coffee. Porridge and biscuits are also supplied. Its very convenient for the town with cafes and restaurants within a 15 minute walk along the esplanade. Highly recommend this place.

Pros: A great place to stay, ideal location, very clean and comfortable.

Pros: Had to leave early to catch the ferry. Breakfast was not included in the price as no facilities available. However, we found milk, tea and coffee and bottled water in the room together with pots of porridge, biscuits and snacks to take away. Far more than our expectations. Loves the location. Directions for parking were helpful and very specific. Quite location just off the promonade

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was peaceful despite the inconsiderate neighbours.

Pros: The owners and staff went out of their way to accommodate. On my second night, my upstairs neighbours were being loud, with the football on. The staff asked them to turn it down, which they didn't agree to, so I was moved to a much quieter room. The couple who are employed to run the place are adorable, helpful, and kind. Although breakfast isn't provided, there were plenty of teabags, coffee, non-dairy alternatives to milk, water, and snacks.

Cons: The level of noise from the neighbours above. The car park being outside my window.

A luxurious and comfortable stays with thoughtful touches

Pros: The whole building was clean and fresh and fixtures and fittings were of the highest standard There was a small fridge with fresh milk, juice and water, perfect after a journey Toiletries were also presented in glass containers and again all fixtures were of the highest standard, bed and bed linen extremely comfortable and luxurious It is defiantly the little touches that count, I have stayed in more expensive places and not had these little touches, the selection of tea, the information about the local area, a luxurious shower, it all made for a very welcome break, the only downside is that it was only one night! The doors opening to the Juliet balcony were perfect too I would recommend Oban House 100%

Pros: The location was perfect for us as we needed the Ferry, the room was warm and very clean and comfortable and there were plenty of places in Oban for breakfast

A good find

Pros: What a find, beautiful room/bathroom very clean. Self check in all instructions very easy to follow. Tea,coffee, juice,water left in fridge. Breakfast not included but plenty of places in town. 20minute walk down into Oban town.
