Corran House Guest House

Set in the small fishing town of Oban, Corran House Hostel is made up of two buildings in a Victorian terrace with scenic views across the bay to the Isle of Kerrera and the hills of Mull. A TV is featured in all rooms at Corran. Most have private bathroom facilities, and some have sea views. A spacious and fully-equipped shared kitchen is available for guests’ use, with seating for 20 people. Towels are provided in all rooms, but must be hired at a GBP 1 fee per towel in the dormitories. A large range of malt whiskies, bar meals, and a big-screen TV with Sky are featured in the on-site bar, which overlooks the sea. There is also a pool table and an adjacent patio area. Great place to stay

Pros: Location, walk away from the town. Lots of places to eat. Comfortable bed. Great view of the loch. Toiletries provided, hot shower and big towels

Clean, friendly, good facilities and staff visited several times

Pros: Clean, modern room with ensuite Have been several times before so knew what to expect Kitchen facilities are great and communal areas offer good space Bar below is a bonus

Cons: As explained in the communications befi=ore visit We were in maain building above the bar and even on the second floor you will hear some noise until 1am at weekends They do provide ear plugs to help If you don't like noise I would advise you to ask for the rooms in the second building The noise didn't bother us

Lovely warm room in a great location at a great value price.

Pros: We booked the larger double room with sea view. The room (No.6) was well furnished, warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean with a lovely view out to sea towards Lismore. It had a large bathroom with huge walk in shower with rainfall shower. The kitchen for guests use is so well laid out with anything you could wish for. Provisions are available for a continental breakfast for self selection. Parking so near to the accommodation at a council carpark. We downloaded the Pay by Phone app before our stay so we could pay for parking outwith the free time of 18.00-09.00.

Excellent highly recommended

Pros: Perfect location close to everything but not in the centre, between a 2 minute walk to the start of the main street and 10 minutes walk to the ferry port so ideal

Cons: We booked a double room but did not notice the option we booked shared with one other room, not a massive problem as there was a separate toilet from the main bathroom but we would have booked a room with a bathroom but our fault not there fault so just read properly and it does clearly state that so have no issue with the accommodation at all

Super comfy bunkhouse, great vibes and staff!

Pros: The room is spacious and comfortable for a family, the beds were great, we were high up enough that noise wasnt an issue and the breakfast options perfect for a family adventuring. Thank you!

Pros: Check in was easy just had to go to markie Dan's, the girl was really friendly. The room was lovely clean fresh and bright, and the view was spectacular 👌. The Amenities were great, stocked kitchen witch you pay for what you use was good.
