Pros: Excellent little room in this well-located guest house, which was a short walk to town, just past the wharf area. Breakfast was nice too (and cheap). Highly recommend.

We felt welcomed and cared for. Had magnificent seafood platter at EE-using on the wharf which made the long drive worth

Pros: Homely feel, had room looking over fairy garden. Good continental breakfast with fresh fruit.

Cons: Steep stairs to get upstairs but that is normal in old houses.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maridon House, it made a great base for us to explore Oban before taking a ferry onwards.

Pros: The location was great, very easy walk from the rail station and ferry port, also close to a big Tesco and Aldi. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hairdryers to borrow. Clean bathroom and plenty of hot water, lovely breakfast with fresh fruits and yoghurt, very friendly host. We were able to check in early which was very welcome.
