Milton Bay Luxury lodge wrapped in exceptional scenery

We loved our stay

Pros: We absolutely loved our weekend away here. The views were stunning — when we arrived, we simply sat in silence with a glass of wine, watching the lake. It was incredibly peaceful. The location was easy to find, the property was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Nothing was missing. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like. Just a small FYI for other travellers: shower gel and shampoo aren’t provided. It wasn’t a big deal for us, we picked some up at a nearby shop, but worth knowing in advance.

Pros: Clean, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location.

Cons: cabin was good once quite plenty activities on doorstep but went out of season so lot things closed but we loved walking up the hills and loch tay is gorgeous

Lovely stay , would stay again!

Pros: We loved the location , we thought the check in and check out procedures where seamlessly easy. We liked the decor in the lodge and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.

Cons: The electric shower in the bathroom could be better. Perhaps with a new shower head to increase the pressure.

Great views in lovely lodge

Pros: Excellent location with great views of Loch Tay. The lodge was equipped to a high standard and was clean and well maintained. The Boathouse restaurant provided a varied menu with well cooked food at a reasonable price.

Cosy, clean and perfectly equipped

Pros: What a good example of a holiday lodge should be. Clean, well equipped, good location. Comfortable sofa, chairs, dining table and beds. Good shower and clean bathroom. All in all a really good lodge. The wider area is gorgeous and despite not being that far from Edinburgh, you've for Munros and lochs galore all around you.

Cons: Nothing really… we had a lovely time. One bit of feedback is that other lodges in the luxury-name-dropping bracket we've stayed in that charge extra for dogs leave a goodie bag or something for the dog. A wee tote with treats and poo bags or something. Just a thought, it's always a nice touch.

Perfect place to stay on Loch Tay.

Pros: Absolutely everything. Location and view across the lock was absolutely stunning. The cabin itself was beautifully clean and very well appointed, with everything that you could need. The host was very responsive and helpful when we had a query. Couldn’t ask for more - will return!
