The Black Cabin Oban

Just perfect.

Pros: Such a lovely isolated area. Had everything we could possibly need. Short travel away from Oban high street. Would 100% stay again!

Cons: Nothing.

The location is perfect. Bit too far for the town. Remarkable views and a cozy atmosphere.

Pros: It is an absolutely beautiful place to relax at. I booked this for my partners birthday and he was absolutely gob smacked at how beautiful the inside of the cabin is.

Absolutely incredible!

Pros: We’re just back from The Black Cabin and WOW, what a perfect couples getaway! We had some much needed, long awaited child-free time and thought we’d do something special. We traveled over 3 hours for a night here and it certainly did not disappoint. The cabin was absolutely stunning and so luxurious. Bed was very comfy. The whole place just felt so cosy. We would genuinely spend days here without even leaving the cabin. It had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was just incredible with the best views you could imagine. The robes and slippers were a lovely little bonus too. We can’t wait to go back and spend longer than a night.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like about the property but the only reason I’ve given 9/10 is because of the midges. We’ve woken up this morning with more than 100 bites each and we’re a bit uncomfortable 🤣 So all I’d say is don’t leave the cabin door open when you’re outside or in the hot tub because there were thousands of them. Bring some insect repellent or something to deter them. Unfortunately, that’s just because it’s Scotland and it’s in such a beautiful setting in the country side. The only thing that would make this beautiful place even more perfect would be something like an insect light.

Pros: The cabin was absolutely beautiful the views was amazing and the bed was so comfortable !

Pros: The attention to detail, the facilities, the design and interior of the cabin was amazing. The view from the baloney with the hot tub was superb as well.

Cons: There was no faults at all.

Best Stay in Oban

Pros: Incredibly comfortable stay to celebrate getting married. The perfect location that felt secluded but also close enough to amenities. The place was beautifully decorated and had gorgeous details that felt extra special. Had the best night sleep there and the hot tub was a big bonus too! Will be recommending to everyone

Lovely stay in Oban!

Pros: We loved how it felt remote but was still close enough to Oban, loved the jacuzzi, loved all the utilities and the interior design. We also loved all the extra touches, such as the guide with tips, coffee and tea cakes etc. Rowan was incredibly helpful. Definitely want to come back!

Pros: Excellent property, thoughtfully put together and the workmanship internally is incredible. Views are amazing. Has everything you could want/need. One of our favourite places we have stayed and will definitely be back.

A gorgeous stay in a quiet cabin

Pros: We loved our stay at the Black Cabin. The design was gorgeous and the facilities were excellent. Every detail had been thought of. The bed was also one of the most comfortable that we've both every slept in. It's a perfect little oasis of calm above Oban. We just wished we'd stayed longer!
