Waverley Apartments - The Wedge

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay and are looking to book again asap!

Pros: Clean, tidy, warm, cosy, had everything we could have needed during our stay. Great location, fantastic sea views and comfortable. Hosts were very attentive and caring.

Cons: Nothing - no designated parking space but plenty of street parking and car parking spaces nearby

Lovely apartment. Perfect for a couple or small family.

Pros: Beautifully decorated, immaculate, fab location and views. It was our second stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Cons: The mattresses are a bit soft for our preference. A new mattress on the bed would be ideal. The sofa bed mattress was ok if we put it on the floor, but then it’s more of a hassle to get it out and put it away each day.

Pros: Clean comfortable apartment well thought out and planned. The hosts were very helpful. Clear information in the folder. The kitchen was well stocked, tidy and clean.

Cons: Instructions about when you reach and how to find the apartment could be clearer. We followed Google maps but when we reached we were on a main road and had to be guided through an alleyway to the apartment. The beds were too soft but that's our preference.

Pros: Lovely welcome from Stephen when we arrived. Very comfortable and great location.

Cute wee flat that is actually bigger than it looks in the photos, has everything you need for a nice stay

Pros: This is a great place to stay right in Gourock. Was perfect for us to explore the area and catch up with family The views were lovely It had everything we could possibly need if we wanted to cook although we usually ate out at one of the amazing local restaurants Lots of cool shops and a supermarket across the road Owner was very helpful and accommodating

Cons: Nothing, I would stay here again

Cons: Free on-street parking does exist but it is in short supply close to the flat

Pros: The flat was exceptional. Very well played out, comfortable, clean. It is in a very central location in Gourock, only 5 min from the station, there are shops, bars and restaurants close by, and. you have a lovely view on the Clyde. I messaged 30 min prior to arrival and was let in. Everything was explained, how the heating works, where everything was etc. I very much enjoyed my stay there and will book again when I am back in Gourock. Beats a hotel room any time.
