THE LION'S DEN ON ROYAL STREET

Cosy, clean flat in quiet and good location in Gourock

Pros: Cosy flat with everything we needed. Every room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, nice big shower in the bathroom. Comfy sofa in the lounge with a range of DVDs to watch on a rainy day. Free wi-fi. Grocery store close by, only a couple of minutes walk, also 2/3 takeaways - Italian food with chippy and 2 Chinese. The main shopping street with Sainsbury's, restaurants, cafes and more takeaways was only a little further - 5 or 6 minute walk. Good location : bus stop nearby for buses to Cloch Road, ferry terminal and Largs. Opposite, bus stop for Greenock and Glasgow. Not far from Gourock railway station and main ferry terminal.

Cons: Everything was great ! We didn't know how to access normal tv channels like BBC or STV or get freeview/ netflix but we aren't so young and tech-savvy, so probably obvious to others !

Lovely property, great location, perfect for a couple.

Pros: The property was in a great location, well proportioned and had everything we needed.

Cons: Nothing! It was great for what we needed over 4 nights

Great stay at the lions den.

Pros: The lions den is a great place as a base to go exploring.the flat was clean and everything catered for.free parking was a bonus and is situated near all the shops/pubs/restaurants etc. Paul the owner was in contact prior to our trip and was brilliant to give us all the info we needed.

Cons: Nothing at all,we would definitely book here again if ever in the area.

Lovely stay

Pros: Great relaxing location, plenty of parking but also 5 minutes by walk from the train station, lovely walks nearby with an amazing view on the bay. Little lovely view from the relaxing sitting room as well. The grocery and coffee shop are very close. Kitchen has everything you need with washing machine as well. Great WiFi and large TV already set up with Freeview, Netflix, BBC IPLAYER ect. Great customer service. I really enjoyed my long stay.

Cons: Maybe could be helpful to have just a single coffe/milk portion for the first morning

Pros: Lovely little flat & great location. Was perfect for us. Owner Paul & housekeeper Margaret were very nice & helpful

Lovely apartment that is close to shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Parking in the streets surrounding the property was fine

Pros: Good location in Gourock, handy for trips out. The kitchen was well equipped, it even had sharp knives and a coffee maker. The bed was one of the comfiest we have slept in.

Cons: There was no heating/hot water when we arrived! It was below zero outside. Managed to fix the boiler via you tube.

Très propre, bon prix mais!

Pros: La décoration est soigne, et c'est très très propre.

Cons: Il manque une cafetière et le lit est vraiment à changé, pas très bien dormi, un de nous deux a même dormi dans le salon sur le divan.

Pros: Bardzo fajny i wygodny apartament dla dwóch osób szukających spokoju i ciszy. Wszystko co potrzebne było na miejscu.

Cons: Podłoga w toalecie mogłaby mniej skrzypieć;-)

Pros: Hübsche Wohnung mit allem für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt dort. Die Kommunikation mit Paul war unkompliziert, rasch, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.
