Value for money

Pros: Location was great,15/20 minute walk to to the Botanic Gardens and Byres road where there's a lot of lovely restaurants and bars. We thought it was an apartment but it was a house so that was a nice surprise. Easy to access with good instructions from host - easy to get in touch with them if needed. Really good value for money.

Cons: Could have been a little cleaner; there was some rubbish was left in the bin from people before and a bit dusty in places but it is an old house, so to be expected.

Great house with private driveway only 10 minutes taxi drive from the city centre

Pros: It was perfect for us we were working just outside the city centre and the driveway added extra security for our van

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Very good communication from owner . .We much appreciated the owner for being so accommodating and allowing an earlier entry into the apartment for some of our group, due to change of flights. Lovely period property with good sized rooms. .Good location. Not far to walk to get buses to city centre. shops nearby and a large Tesco just 5 minute drive away. Free off road and street parking a big bonus.

Cons: Kitchen could be slightly more equipped with more cutlery ,cups and wine glasses. A folder containing information of nearby tourist attractions, local restaurants and takeaways.

Warm and comfortable. The car charger point was a bonus so useful.

Pros: The house was warm and comfortable. Bus stop near by and, discovered by accident, a 5 minute walk away is kelvindale station to Queens Street. Spa shop close by city taxis, \

Cons: Only one toilet... a local guide to public transport and eateries would have been helpful. A code for the rainbow of bins would be useful for non locals. Very Creeky floors,

Pros: Great facilities at the house. Host was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Well equipped kitchen. Tea towels, sponges and little extras are all there in the kitchen in case you forget anything which is great (small amount of washing up liquid etc). Nice to have extra space such as the dining room and living room. All the rooms are a good size. All appliances work well. No issues with heating and hot water. House is very comfortable, easy to access etc and off road parking is a bonus. WiFi was great! 👍👍

Cons: We were unable to close the bathroom window and there was a storm. I would give the cleaning 8/10. The house is clean for sure, towels provided and beds are clean and comfortable so no complaints but I am a bit ocd with cleaning- there was a few hairs in the bathroom things like that but overall it was a great stay.

Location is prime and would love to return yet again.

Pros: Have spent time in this property previously. Location is excellent, not only for the Beatsons, but lots shops, cafes, pubs, gardens and exploring to be done. This saved so much stress from driving back and forth to Glasgow from the mon to fri for treatment. It is just over half mile to the hospital. Bedrooms are huge and we took board games to play sitting in the dining room.

Cons: There are about 8-10 steps up to both front and back door. Can't be helped because then you also have a view over the city.

Lots of space and outstanding location

Pros: Very spacious house in one of the most beautiful and impressive neighbourhoods in Glasgow. Excellent location for city walking. The restaurant and takeaway on the main road are among the best Glasgow has to offer. Off-road parking with electric charging was a huge bonus.

Cons: Basic decor and the kitchen wasn't very well equipped. Floors creaked and the bedroom door closed with difficulty.
