The New Westfield

Superb location and host

Pros: Superb location for Murrayfield and trams into the city. Excellent communication before during and after our stay from Gill.

Cons: N/A

Pros: The host was very flexible and considerate. Enjoyed my stay.

Pros: Easy check in , convenient for bus & tram at Murrayfield. Aldi & McDonald's at end of street. Apartment warm & clean. Nice to have the shortbread biscuits when we arrived as milk also in the fridge. Host was easy to contact.

Overall it was lovely, clean tidy and close to everything you need. Would recommend and would use again.

Pros: It was close to supermarkets and transport links were excellent. Bus stop on the road outside and tram was about five or ten minute walk. Clean and lovey welcome pack left.

Cons: On street parking Monday to Friday you have to pay for which would work out as about £30 per day. It is free at a weekend and in an evening although you have to be out for 8am when parking charges start. We used park and ride so parked outside when it was free and left in morning parked up at park and ride and tram into the city. £5.50 for all day ticket and it includes Loithan buses. Also Frosted glass door on bathroom, the bathroom is opposite the front door so when lights are on or the light is coming through the outside window you can see everything. My Mum walked through the front door to see My husband sat on the loo😂

Edinburgh stay

Pros: The apartment was neat & clean. It had all the kitchenware that a family needs. They were of good quality. Beds pillows towels all were fresh & clean. Washroom was also cleaned before our arrival. Added advantage is the location as there is a bus stop at 1 minute distance & behind a very big sainsbury super market. The big bedroom has a good size wardrobe with drawers . The host was very kind & helpful. All electrical were in good working conditions. I surely recommend this place.

Cons: The size of the second bedroom is small having a single bed but had place to hang coats , bathrooom is smaller and got burnt while washing my face at the basin as the heater was just behind. Didnt realize it and was my fault too. The glass door of the bathroom is 15 % transparent hence we family had to be in a room until the person finishes . May be the size of apartment in the Edinburgh city centre is of same size as compared to our london booked flat which were bigger. Kitchen is in the living room with a peninsula table and barely any space left to move around if all chairs get occupied and not much space to keep plates glasses & food.

A good base from which to explore a great city.

Pros: The property is in a good location with good transport links; it is clean with a good shower, good beds and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Cons: The second bedroom has no windows and another chair in the lounge would be good.

Pure unfiltered joy!!

Pros: Honestly it was a really clean apartment, it had all the facilities you could want and the beds were like falling into heaven

Cons: My only issue is the bathroom door is slightly see through so my friends could see me on the loo

Good well contained apartment with easy access to city centre.

Pros: On a good commuter route to city centre. Shops nearby.

Cons: Could do with extra armchair in sitting room. One sofa is a bit cosy for 3 people.

Pleasant stay

Pros: Pleasant quiet location, Polite and friendly host, nice apartment.

Pros: Location and decor. Comfortable and warm. Nice feel to the place. Instructions re keys etc very clear.

Cons: Could do with more hooks (coat hooks in hall, towels in bathroom, back of doors). Another comfy chair perhaps so three people can watch tv.
