Wonderful retreat in Edinburgh!

Pros: Great location, quiet area just steps from the bus stop. Very clean and comfortable. Very convenient having a washer and a dryer. The unexpected goodies awaiting us in the kitchen were a welcoming treat.

A great place to stay in Edinburgh with private parking and a good quiet location.

Pros: Good location in Edinburgh, particularly for the Botanic Gardens. Parking on the driveway and a very friendly welcome from the host.

Pros: The cottage is at the rear of the main house accessed by a side entrance. There is a large driveway to allow your vehicle to be parked off the street. The cottage is in a quiet area of the city but close enough to access Edinburgh's main areas quite easily via bus or taxi . The interior is very modern and is nicely finished with a spacious living area with a large sofa, a table and chairs, the sliding doors open out into the garden area. The bed was comfy and the shower room was finished nicely too. The whole property was clean and tidy, the hosts are very friendly and helpful ensuring I had everything I needed. Julie has prepared a manual that provides information on Edinburgh and surrounding tourist attractions and a selection of options nearby for dining out as there is no kitchenette area. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the cottage and would stay again if I'm back in Edinburgh.
