Pros: A very cosy and warm apartment which is in easy reach of all the sights. Check in was easy. There was good comunication with the managers of the property. A nice array of treats had been left for us upon our arrival. We were very happy with our stay.

Location is the only advantage

Pros: Location is great and the view of the castle right from your bedroom. The interior has a vibe

Cons: Check-in process wasn’t quite convenient. I was expected to fill out a check-in form sent to my email (now via booking.com conversation). Obviously, I ignored it because it seems quite unsafe. Thus, we had to figure out how to access the apartment at the entrance. Overall the place seemed a bit overpriced.

Beautiful and warm fully equipped apartment

Pros: Beautiful and bright apartment in the center of Edinburgh. The rooms were big with large windows overlooking the castle, nicely decorated and very comfortable couch and especially mattress (soft as a cloud!) The kitchen was also fully equipped, and generally you could find anything you needed. The JOIVY team was very responsive to different questions or problems around the house (for example the heating system that needed to turn the boiler on, or the old faulty lock on the apartment door) The safety deposit was immediately returned without any problems. In general very pleasant and warm apartment, would totally recommend!

Cons: Concerning the check in and check out procedures it is true that it takes several minutes of your time so it is recommended to prepare ahead so you don't have to wait outside the entrance to fill all your informations. Also , as mentioned above, we had some difficulties turning on the heat and locking the appartement due to a faulty lock, but the JOIVY team was very responsive and any issues were rapidly fixed.

Pros: exceptional localisation added to a very intimate and delicate decoration sanitaries are separated from the bathroom, which allow this latter to contains a huge bath… bedroom has a stunning castle view you can contemplate from the bed… to resume: everything is made for you to be as pleased as if you were home, with the holidays bonus :)
